If you tower to the top, stay head level with the chest, and inch closer, while right clicking with a pike, you can open it without triggering the golem (this does not work diagonally
on the second to last chest if you only go 5 blocks up instead of 7 from the previous floor you can safely open the 2nd to last chest without having to actually go in there as long as you dont jump up and try to reach the chest and or go further up than those afromentioned 5 blocks.
Why can't I just kill the golem from a flying mount, wait for the tower to finish exploding (after which all the spawners disappear) and then pick up all the loot?
you can do it in the mid/late game ... but can you do it in the early game ? this is a guide to cheese battle towers. and you cheese things when you're weak. yes you can do that . but looting the items will take some time since there will be so many items to pickup ...
bro you can literraly send boss to germany by using some arrows idk name but made from chorus fruit and some mobs drop it it also needs a special bow made from eye of ender

@@m0stard424 The old trick was to use the grappling hook and yeet it out but now it doesn't work, so the next best thing is to use switch bow with teleport arrow and switch places with it ( best done with a flying mount )
i mentioned it in the video , if chests are locked you should grab some lockpicks to unlock them , after unlocking a chest you have to press "Escape" then empty your hands and grab the chest.

you can just use a wooden pike and stand at max distance form the top 2 chests to loot them quickly without activating the golem

@@AryNBoner You don't need the switch bow. You can use switchbow arrows with any bow.
Or, just use a hopper
im not completely sure about this but im 40 percent sure that dosen't work in 2.9.3 anymore ...(on last 2 floors)

@@LowrdCraft It works in regular RLCraft too. Just pick the lock first if they're locked. The lock keeps the items from dropping in the hopper too,

you can use pikes to be safer but it dosen't make a difference since you have to look at the chests from the corners anyways.

the strategy shown is both slow and unreliable, Just use the goddamn switch bow like a normal person, it's cheap and easy to use.
