In the process of a divorce after 23 years of marriage. I can definitely relate to this. I'm glad they did this cover. I don't think this song would've meant much to me otherwise, the lyrics are way more audible and impactful when slowed down with some somber. Thanks, Ash! ❤❤❤

I never thought Hey Ya would make me cry. Going through a separation that came out of nowhere for me and such a haunting version of this song really hits me in the heart.
I know I'm late to this but this cover made me feel like I haven't in a very long time. Life has been difficult to say the least with divorce and too many failed attempts to find what love is. This song puts things into perspective when sang this way. Thank you for reacting to this, it's made this day a little better :)
