I tell you everything you need to know, starting with how and where to purchase a transportation card (for ease, convenience and DISCOUNTS!), bus fares, major transfer areas, the best app to find bus routes - and so much more!!

1. How much is the price for the T-Money? Does the price include the balance as the amount we pay?
2. Is it possible if I use 1 card for more than 1 person??

To answer,
1. The cost for a Tmoney card is 2,500won, which is non-refundable. That cost is separate from the cost for the actual bus fare. As an example, if you want to fill up for 10,000won worth of bus fare, total cost will be 12,500won!
2. You CAN use the card for more than 1 person, you just have to let the driver know before you swipe. He'll input it into the system before you tag the reader, just make sure you wait until he's done inputting it, or the reader won't charge you the appropriate amount. HOWEVER- You can only do it for single rides. You won't be able to get transfer discounts. So, in the long run, getting a Tmoney for everyone may be the cheaper option! Also, if you're traveling with kids, you have to register their card as a youth/child card on the website, and I'm not sure if you can do that as a traveller.

Nita Carolina Hi! Excellent question! It really depends on the bus, but generally, buses run from around 6am to 11pm!

Nita Carolina That’s very close to the airport! However, it depends on how early you’d want to get to the airport, but some buses don’t start running until close to 6:30, so it may be a bit tight!
