The sweetest sound , Id always tear up when hearing the heartbeat during my ultrasounds, I have five kids now and still get excited when someone shares their pregnancy news or details , happy for you and hope you take good care of yourself, eat healthy and get lots of rest ✨

I'm not pregnant AT ALL but when I stand up too fast from lying in bed, I always have to wait to walk because I get dizzy and everything looks fuzzy! lol Congrats Jen! I will always remember the first time i heard my babys heartbeat, it was such an emotional experience that you cannot prepare for, me and my husband both were trying not to cry lol that was 9 years ago and watching this video just reminded me of that amazing moment we shared back then.

I still remember the first time I heard my baby's heartbeat. I was so excited because at the time I did not know it had been formed at three (3) weeks gestation. So I thought his heart had not been formed yet boy oh boy was I thrilled. And at each subsequent visit afterward too.
About you feeling faint after laying down.... Be careful! Your blood pressure is probably a lot lower than before so yes, be very slow in getting up. Also, later on in your pregnancy (or even now), don't sleep on your back, or you might get this thing called supine hypotension! Sleep on your left side and with pillows under your abdomen and between your legs. Just little things I learned in nursing school :) So happy to hear these updates!

Couple things. The whole standing quickly when sitting causing dizziness is from orthostatic hypotension. Very common in pregnancy. Dehydration during pregnancy can actually be quite dangerous, especially in the third trimester. So yes, continue to hydrate a lot. If a pregnant woman is dehydrated in her third trimester, she could start premature contractions. Reason behind it is, when one is dehydrated, your body will make more ADH, which looks similar enough to oxytocin, that oxytocin receptors will pick up on it, and sometimes cause contractions and cramping, instead of increasing blood pressure, which was what your body initially intended to do by making more ADH, since your blood pressure goes down during dehydration.

im 11+5 weeks pregnant. how do you know if everything is ok with the baby? ughhh i heard the heartbeat at 8+2weeks and its sooo hard waiting till my 12 week appointment lol
+Maira Avila you are most likely fine, my dear. In 2014 I was pregnant and started spotting/bleeding gradually around 7-8 weeks, with no pain, ultrasound didn't show any baby, just a sad empty sac. I ended up having a d & c a few weeks later. I worried myself during this pregnancy thinking the same would happen but there were no signs that anything is wrong. You just need to observe your body (no bleeding, no sudden pain) and tell yourself there is nothing to be concerned about, you've already heard the heartbeat! I know how hard it is to try to not worry though! x

Awww im so excited for you! I found out I was pregnant on Valentine's Day, so I'm 6 weeks and 4 days now. My first ultrasound appt is in 3 weeks and I'm super excited and nervous!
My ultrasound clinic seems sucky so I'm not looking forward to my sonogram tomorrow. I hope it's better than I'm expecting. Thanks for this video!

I am exactly 7w3d today too! I can’t wait to hear my baby’s heartbeat 💓 on Nov 30th! I don’t usually have any nausea. Sometimes I’ll have a strange sensation in my stomach and I’d say it’s nausea, but it’s not what I’m use to. So, we’ll see. I’m also always thirsty!

Use real ginger to make tea. You can buy those sea sick wrist band at target by the vitamin isles.
You need to drink 64 oz of water daily and then when nursing you need to drink 100oz of water. This was told by my nurse.
Just entered 8 weeks recently and fatigue is by far my worst symptom. No nausea as of yet
I'm so excited every update video to hear about your experience! I'm not pregnant but this past year I crave lemonade all the time, chick-fil-a lemonade is so good! There's one right by my university downtown Chicago so I get tempted to go in there from time to time. 😌
7 weeks is when I started getting nauseous as well. for three days in a row I would get sick immediately after taking my prenatal, so I had to switch the time I took them. I also started bleeding very heavily at 5 weeks and it lasted for 10 weeks, scary but baby was okay and is now 2!!! it's so exciting when you get o see the baby, woo!!

CFA's lemonade is the best, so I don't blame ya. Just always drink water a couple of mins after because of UTI. When I was pregnant, I was the same way. I always drank juices, barely any water, so I had a hard time with UTI.

Hey Jen, I drink black tea often and I was just researching the health benefits and I found that it helps with orthostatic hypertension which is dizziness when you stand up. I don't know for sure if there are complications with drinking black tea while your are pregnant, but I just wanted to let you know so that you can further research and maybe ask your doctor about it! I really like your videos by the way, thank you for that :)

Actually my mum told me about dairy cravings few days ago. Your body produces more lactase (hence you become lactose tolerant) when pregnant. The fun thing is that it can stay like this for some time. For my mum it was 1,5 year after giving birth. After that time production of this enzyme started to fade. So enjoy your ice cream :D

I'm the same weeks pregnant right now as you were in this video. I feel like our pregnancies are sooo similar. I did not get out of bed this weekend except to eat otherwise I felt terribly weak and sick. all foods except like bread gross me out right now. it's soo awful. all my favorite foods I can't even eat because they turn me green. Im glad to see it gets better after watching your other vlogs

@headtotoe Jen, be careful with dairy. During pregnancy, your immune system is able to tolerate nearly everything including foods you're normally allergic to and after pregnancy, you'll become ultra sensitive and react to everything you've ate, all at once. Not a doctor but it's happened to a lot of my girlfriends. Imagine endless hives for months.

So how far along are you now? And how come you just don't vlog your pregnancy now? Idk, I feel like it just bothers me cause you just upload this vlog but it wasn't filmed like today or yesterday, it was filmed like 2-3 months ago.
I know this reply is late and this may not be the exact reason she waited, but most people do not tell anyone they are pregnant until they are at least 12 weeks along because of the high rate of miscarriage. Hope this answers that question!
