The reason is before there was sivil war. now sivil war is end. So sri Lanka is very peaceful country now but I heard still some of Tamil (LTTE) terrorist try to underrate the country mostly who live in Europe

Sri Lanka was the first country that my girlfriend and I traveled to and it is the reason we travel as much as possible now

We absolutely love Sri Lanka, have been going there on holiday since 1999, my husband Nigel Knight used to live in Trincomlaee. We are hoping to be in SL in October 2020.

@@thaku7050 yes,but you have to quarantine for 2 week, no good for us, we go for 3 week and need to travel all over to visit friends.

My country is the best country give beat services for all tourists. During quarantine period they take care all tourists without charges( accommodation fully free)😊😊

As a Sri Lankan and as a seasoned Traveller, I would say this is one of the most honest lists I have seen on internet. Knuckles is also my personal favourites and there is plenty to explore. Hidden Caves, Waterfalls, Caves inside the waterfalls, hidden villages which still practise barter system can be experienced there. Cheers Mate !
Happy to get approval from a seasons Sri Lankan traveler :) I need to go explore more in Knuckles. There's so much more I want to see!

Trincomalee is really interesting. We love the outdoor activities and Trinco would be perfect. Sri Lanka is beautiful now wonder many will visit the country

Wow Steve really great video. But next time you visit Sri Lanka I would highly reccomend listening to the mass of stories that comes with the locations itself. Sri Lanka is filled with rich secrets buried deep in its culture and me myself being a sri lankan has only learnt a handful of these stories. so give that a try

Picking knuckles mountain range was the best thing in this video. Next time come from riverstone road and you can climb yahangala which is one of best hikes you can experience in the country.
