I just got a G50 and its dead quiet switching pups & pots. You got other issues like dirty pots/jacks/switches or dirty AC. Have you tried Furman AC line filtering or an Ebtech Humex ?
+Timrs1989 Hey thanks for responding. It was the transmiter. I bought a new one yesterday and the unit has worked perfectly since. The first guitar I was using in the vid had passives and that one was creating the worst sound interferences. Thanks for watching!
@@BagusWibisono I have had dropouts using the G50. I've owned two Relay G50 Receievers and still have two TBP12 packs. I've since moved to the G70 which is better in my opinion.
I'd be willing to bet you either missed an adjustment internal to the wireless unit Or You needed to get a noise gate!!! I can tell you like playing djent, metal etc... a noise gate (ISP Decimator, Rocktron Hush) will change your life!!!
That was my first idea. But what about a switching pickups? I have one guitar with only bridge humbucker. But I’d like to use others guitars as well... trying to find really good solution for a rack using.
Have you tired new 5ghz systems? Or even 2.4ghz systems where you can compare contrast them to this? I'm in the market for a wireless system and a g90 receiver is a available to me for about $100. Compared to $140 or so for 5.4ghz consumer system I'm on the fence
I've used mine for 7 years! Nada! 100% no issues! If I was you you'd better check the A/C ground on you rack! Your pot has a ground issue! You'd better get a tech & check your electricty!
have you tried cleaning your pots?
You should have a problem, mine is working for 12y and never happened.

sounds like you pots need cleaning. Did you check this issue with a guitar cable??
Could the static thing be due somehow to active pickups? Assuming that’s what you’re using.

I have a G90 and a G10, no volume issues or pop sounds at all. Perhaps yours was defective
I'be never experienced this after using the G90 for about 5 years now. Neither with passive or active pickups.
why not test the transmitter against a cable?
i’ve heard these relay from line6 got more natural and organic sound than Shure glxd series.
I have the G50 and G90 (essentially the same). Never had this issue over four years. I have had dropouts, however.
How about you with these line 6 wireless? You’ve never drop out with these unit?

Have you reached out to line6 what did they say?
Line 6 g90 or sennheiser 100 g4 ??? Which one should i go for???thanks
Rui Buíça which you prefer now?
@@BagusWibisono i bought the g4
Rui Buíça why? why not g90?
@@BagusWibisono only because of reviews and vs digital. I think they will do the job well. Belive g4 is better quality also good access to bateries
Rui Buíça cool! How about shure GLXD series dude?
If you know the problem was the transmitter, why is this 'review' still up, uncorrected?
When you buy something new it should work out of the box. If not, it's flawed. So my review stands.

Ground lift problem?
You can use a volume pedal to solve this problem

3 year update: It was my transmitter. Lol I've stopped using wireless units however. I just prefer a strong cable connection.

I think its a sheilding issue with some guitars
