aw, I love Gun. I love Johannes' clean vocals, and it's a song that took him YEARS to finish because the composition always sounded wrong to him until he stripped it down to just his voice and a piano. And It was beautiful to hear live.
I really like the guitar, and drums on this! The vocals are very good as well. Heavier than their last record,which wasn't bad,but I like the sound of this one much better. Also, really liked the guitar solo. Video was cool as well.
Hell yes, this one's a total banger! Only found out about these crazy fuckers in Feb on UA-cam and it all started with a recommended video of some dude looking like Eric Draven (the Crow is my fave movie and I crushed on Eric hard - still do!) so I HAD to check them out and within one minute of their Wacken 2015 set, I KNEW I was gonna love them and now they're one of my fave bands 😀 They're the whole package for me: killer stage presence, costumes, makeup, guitar tones, brilliant lyrics and phrasing, talent, the whole circus theme, ENERGY, man...I can go on and on They should never ever be an opener again, no way and how they're not bigger than they are is beyond me Killer review my dudes and I hope you guys can check out a show on this upcoming tour!
the new album is *Dance Devil Dance*, 3 songs have been released so far - all of them are killers & get stuck in my head so bad. i don't mind, cos they're amazing. avatar are really truely coning into their own. it's incredible to watch.
Shit, Gun is a good song. Been an avatar fan for a decade or more and love that they can do so many different sounds. Gun is definitely not a song I seek out, but I don't skip it either

Hunter Gatherer is not my favorite but man I love this band. Going Hunting, Barren Cloth Mother So Sang the Hollow and now this. All four songs so far are great!

All of the recent Avatar material I've been digging, Hunter Gatherer was a damn fine album, this song is another banger.
Casually starting with " I am Projectile Vomit " is still one of the hardest starts to a song I've ever Heard. Like. Holy Hell lmfao

Great Review. Hunter Gatherer had good songs but there was a lot of extended outros to songs if I recall and a big reason for no 2 toe tags

The only thing missing from this song was an actual bridge. The guitar harmony was really pleasant but the silent break was really anticlimactic
