- Today we have a special video as we had the pleasure visit and film the Patek Philippe Museum.
Dr Peter Friess, director and curator of the museum goes over the history of the company as well as the museum showing us some of the most precious timepieces in their collection.
We hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed making it.
And a big Viva Watchmaking and its history to you!

I had the luck to visit this museum 3 years ago. I had no big expectations about it. I thought: it will be a nice place used from Patek for marketing. I was as much wrong, as it is possible. I was absoluteley flashed by that place of horological magic. I never expectet it that big, that wide spreading into the entire history of watchmaking and with that mass of masterpieces from many different watchmakers. Today I know that this is one of the best museums on the planet und I will for sure visit it again. Everybody who is in watches, mechanics, technics or art should have seen it. You will never forget it!
Couldn’t agree more with you, an incredible tribute to watchmaking, an amazing place
How much to pay?
Mind blowing oasis of horology! A treasure for the future. Thank you Marc.
A marvelous testimony of human ingenuity!!
Amazing beautiful. A must for all watch lovers.
Absolutely and maybe not only once ;)
WATCHES TV gives me goosebumps almost every time. No other watch channel can compete in this respect. I’m off to this museum as soon I can! 🙏 Thank you!
That's extremely nice to hear, thanks so much for this, really highly appreciated!! The very best to you
Amazing!!! As you say… thanks to the Stern family for putting it together and sharing it…. And to this wonderful UA-cam channel for bring it to all the watch enthusiasts… 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks so much and we can indeed be very grateful of making this available to all. Best to you
Wow ...I wish beauty and decoration were more important today
But one has to remember that this beauty was reserved to a small elite too. The very best to you
I live so call to the museum, now I definitely want to visit!
Please do, it’s just waiting for you ;)
Wow 🤩 what a place. Thanks so much for sharing that Marc
You are very welcome and thanks for watching us 🙏🙏🙏
Place i've always wanted to visit.....😍
You would love it 👍👍
Really excited and wonderful 👍❤️
Thanks 🙏👍
On my bucket list...a watch enthusiasts heaven!
Absolutely right, nicely said 👍
Wonderfully made video- thank you. Bravo to whoever did the filming!
Thanks and will be shared with the team 🙏🙏👍
Fantastic Mark thank you!
You’re very welcome, thanks a lot
Inspirational place for learning history of the brand & their key 🔑 timepieces
But the really nice thing is that it really goes beyond PP, a true testimony to watchmaking
Will definitely be visiting some day
A total must
Speechless...That enamel and diamond, WOW. Ty for this..Perhaps a more in depth look in the future for those who are far away and cannot afford to travel there.
Oh could be the subject of a full series, it’s so rich, meaningful and inspiring! The very best to you
That fact that this is open to the public is quite admirable of Patek Philippe.
And can you imagine that this is the only watch museum in Geneva!!!!
Magnificent tour, thankyou Marc. You are the opposite of Hoodinkee😁
Thanks a lot, very kind of you
Marc Andre`, another Greta video…I think something interesting is happening the The Watches TV: the reputation for great content is so strong, so professional, that a strong trust has been built. The result is that you are now the go-to platform for the industry. “The great interviews are on Watches TV” - that’s the fact now…it is the platform of record. Congratulations
Really thanks a lot for this comment and we indeed put a lot of efforts with the team to do our very best, sometimes just feels a bit frustrated that a guy in his kitchen will do so many more views as we really want to share our passion with as many people as possible ;) the super best to you and enjoy your weekend
@@WATCHESTVcom Marc Andre: ultimately I think there will be a wave of consolidation. High quality channels will band together: think Richmond group! It’s just a matter of who will make an aggressive move and put the energy into talking to channels and not frightening them away - independence is a big part of UA-cam subscriber model. But it’s doable…
a heaven for watch lovers
Totally, a must!
Amazing place, loved my visit. Thanks for the great video.
Many thanks to you and indeed a fantastic place
As always the Watches TV showing us all with another great video what is important in relation to this great passion. I was lucky to visit here about 5 years ago and I will definitely visit again❤️
Many thanks and after 5 years you can go back and you will most certainly be as happy as with your first visit 👍
Incredible! Definitely a place worth visiting when in Geneva. It has been already on my bucket list but this still needs to be ticked off!
Thank you so much for this inspiring video report, MAD & team!
P.S.: I would really like to see a video about the whole WATCHES TV team!
That’s a very nice idea 👍👍
Fantastic video Marc Andre. This place is definitely on my bucket list to visit❤️🙏
Fully understand, a total MUST!
I need to go!
We can only confirm this 😉
I hope one day I can visit! 😊
I can only wish you this too 👍👍
C’est émouvant 🥺
Faudra que tu visites ça la prochaine fois que tu viens 👍👍
Amazng history, stories and pieces, Hope to vidsit them in the near future, as always great content, love the watches tv. Cheers Marc ✌
Many thanks and totally wish you being able to visit in the near future, such a wonderful place.
This video is great
👍👍
Nice video. Are cameras allowed during the tour?
Needs a small gourmet coffee shop inside museum
All that history, and now people just want the Nautilus... I'm so over the 1970s style phase. I think it will die out eventually
Like everything, things come and go, but the power of that design will prevail, not necessarily the hype around it ;) Best to you
Name of the watch 04:01 ??
