It was worth the wait for History's sake.
My issues with trump were the obvious corruption. Constantly using tax payer funds to travel back and forth to his business in Florida, where he would charge for his own secret service to be with him at his resort totaling millions, employing his family as his cabinet as well as holding multiple foreign dignitaries and officials in his estate, charging them and then having a huge amount of classified documents with them on the property. Come on! then he claims he is immune to all criminal charges that puts every citizen at risk!

What Mr. Weissmann noted at the end, about Trump's view being antithetical to our system of justice, is exactly why SCOTUS should remove "citizen" Trump from the ballot under the Colorado 14th Amendment case.
Keep in mind that the GOP supports him.

His view and their arguments are the correct one. Anyone who doesn’t agree have views antithetical to our system. As they argues the proper procedure is impeachment, conviction and removal by the senate then you can criminally indict. They are skipping the second step of the impeachment process and going straight to the end. By this logic they can go after Obama for killing an American Citizen as well as Biden for his dereliction of duty to hold up the constitution without going through an impeachment process.

The immunity claim is absurd, outrageous and extremely dangerous! The Supreme Court must do its duty and reject any appeal.
It’s not and it’s clear you know little about the claim and the processes outlined in the constitution. They clearly have stated the proper process is to see the impeachment through to the end with the senate convicting/removing and then you can indict. They are blatantly skipping that step. Stop being a sheep and look into thing rather than just believing what the talking heads tell you. If the president isn’t immune to the extent they are requiring the full impeachment process than any state or the feds themselves can indict a president whenever they please, that leads to chaos. Obama then should be indicted for bombing an American Citzen even though he was never impeached for it. If you are ok with this then you should be ok with Obama going to prison for the extrajudicial assassination of an American citizen

It's 57 pages. They will need to at least read it and think about it. They will also need to read the appeal from Trump's lawyers and weigh its merit. Highly unlikely their answer will come before next week.

@@davidkeogh1570 Pretty sure that's not how it works. I highly doubt the court is going to review and rule, or decline to review, before the appeal has even been written and submitted. That would make no sense legally.

The Justices have the option to refuse hearing any case. The Appellate Court’s decision covered everything that the Supreme Court would agree with. Don’t see them overturning it.
