This was my 1st time hearing about doing multiple passes on the beard line. Clearly it makes a difference. For that and your clear and thorough instruction, you have earned a new subscriber!
I have been following you for a while now. I love how you did the edge up--NO PUSH BACK AND NO SPRAY PAINT ENHANCEMENTS. It is completely natural. All that spray paint and barber pen gimmicks make no sense, but people pay for extra for it. This cut looks more natural and KLEEEEEEN!!! lol
Can’t find a 1 or a 1 1/2 guard anywhere been cutting for some time since I was about 15 but I’m just now wanting to really take it public I gets Down but still need some work. You a beast brah.
Try using the Andis Master with the half guard, without the guard and lever manipulation; the Master has a longer blade; the blend is gong to look even more amazing. You won't be disappointed. In addition, excellent beard work. Last suggestion, free hand the loose hairs on the head.
You did your thing with this cut. Been watching every last one of your tutorials, your iG and your website. I’m learning sooooo much and Barber school will be a breeze! Just gotta find the right Barber School, any suggestions?
Hi I’m new to this channel, thanks for taking your time to sow as your tips it helping me a lot I’m a barber in California but most all my clients are Latinos but I want to learn more how to cut Afro hair thanks 🙏 and lot of blessings for you and your barbershop 💈 👍
JayLiner * no my blades aren’t modified, I just set them to give a closer cut. Clean, freshly washed hair also makes a big difference in getting a clean cut
Hello, I'm a stylist and I'm breaking into barbering arena. Your videos have been a great tool in teaching me this side of the grooming industry. I am.however, a little confused on some of the guards. I thought that a 1 guard open is a 1.5, but I see that you pulled out 1.5 guard. What is the difference and is it a guard that I need to add to my collection?🤔
Hi, a 1 guard open is "almost" equivalent to a 1.5, but not quite. Depending on the hair texture you could probably get away without using the 1.5 guard, but I DEFINITELY recommend adding it to your arsenal.

My favorite part of this video is you didn't put a pound of black spray paint on the edge up. Kept it natural💯
I LOVE IT...NICE AND NATURAL♥️♥️

Elvin Guevara thanks! And you’re welcome! Glad to hear that the videos help!
Wonderful job as always. Question. Are any of your blades modified? I hear blades don't cut as clean if not modified
