Innocent child or evil psychopath? The Natalia Grace Barnett case

- In the year 2010, the Barnett family consisting of Michael and Kristine Barnett as well as their 3 sons adopted a child from the Ukraine. After Natalia moved in with the family, strange things started to happen and the Barnetts would end up claiming that their new adoptive daughter is in fact a grown woman, who wants to kill them.

What do you think about this case? Is Natalia an innocent child or an evil psychopath?
My daughter fully started puberty and was menstruating at 9 years old. There was also a documented birth in the 1950's of a 5 year old girl who gave birth to a baby boy after being raped by her step father.
@B N it absolutely broke my heart learning about this little girl who was abandoned by her mother, ended up in an unloving cold orphanage, to a family who adopted her only to further ruin this little innocent life to have her lose the little faith in her in other humans. How this family could put this little child out on her own in this huge scary world because she developed earlier than usual.... Which is proven to be not that unusual..... I just hope she can learn to love those that truly love her. She may never trust in anyone ever again to the fault of those who should have loved her the most!
@B N so true! The agency is at fault too. It seems many had a part in this. I wonder if the adoption agency was ever investigated....
Also: As far as I know, the kind of growth hormones on which you place dwarfs can cause early puberty. Her menstruation is thus not a sign of maturity, assuming she was placed on hormonal treatment.
Her mom came forward and was DNA tested and she was a child born in 2003.
Feel sorry for her but if she was a danger like the Barnett’s said then she needed to be in a mental facility and since they adopted her they were still responsible because of her disability unfortunately.
@James Omar I don’t think it was made up she threatened to kill them and had knives. I do think the Mother & Orphanage out there forged her birth certificate because according to records she had her period and her teeth were proved to be older then what she really was. I’m the Ukrain they are known to do this with Orphans.
@@LALady1 When you adopt from Ukraine the new parents apply for a new birth certificate with their names as parents. The first family didn’t have a certificate given to them by the orphanage. They had a new one issued by the government before they left with her. It’s not possible that the birth mother (or orphanage) could have altered it, she (they) never had hold of it. This process is spelled out on adoption agencies websites.

She looks way older than 16 in the doctor Phil interview. I would say at least 24... that would have made her 18 in 2013. She also doesn't speak like a 16 year old.
That's what I thought, too. But there are teenagers who actually look much older so only from the way she looks like it's hard to determine her real age especially because of her dwarfism.
Also the way she expresses herself...it seems to be more like the vocabulary of a twenty- or even thirty-something-year-old than the vocabulary of a teenager. It's possible that a 16-year old may talk like this -still, it leaves me with strange vibes especially since she passed the test for adults at the Excel Center and because she has been kicked out of her family twice before she met the Barnetts
@@camiosis9024 You have the timeline of the schools wrong. LARA is in LaFayette and was down the street from her SECOND apartment. (First apartment was in Westfield near the Barnett’s home) She went there with the little elderly neighbor lady in 2013. She didn’t go to EXCEL until 2014. Another thing, these are free schools for dropouts. There are no entrance exams. These aren’t some fancy schools.
@@camiosis9024 I don’t have a story. But you sure are telling stories. Just making it up as you go along. Barnetts are the ones who had her official birth certificate changed so that they could abandon her

No ! Natalia is a innocent child.
At this point it is VERY difficult to arrive at any conclusion. The people that actually did wrong was the adoption agency for NOT providing the necessary correct paperwork 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
@@duchessnanciann9592 This case has dragged on for over a year. Seems like enough information has come out to arrive at a conclusion. There’s no way she was an adult

Absolutely. Serious, any parent could look at the photos and recognise the developmental milestones. It's clear as day. This is an innocent child who was abused by two narcisstic and evil adults. It makes me sick to the core.
@@duchessnanciann9592 it's not difficult at all. If you look at the photos, the developmental milestones and growth are plain as day.
Great video ....but some of the things you mentioned are not factually correct....you should probably go watch some of the interviews with the barnett's and correct the record. When they first adopted her they were told she was 6 .....along with some other facts you mentioned....need to be corrected and explained with more context and in the right chronological order, it sounded like you rushed it and for this case ....it's not a good idea to generalize ....as the details really matter! Thanks for your feedback :) I will, however, not make any videos about the Natalia Barnett case in the future expect there are any major updates or if police files are officially published. I've decided for myself that I want to focus more on cases where more information such as police files or other official documents is available like the Ted Bundy case I'm currently covering or the case of Kris ans Lisanne.
