Hello, fellow FOOD TRIPPERS! Please join us on this FOOD TRIP and TRAVEL as we Savor the Moment at BELMONT HOTEL BORACAY located at Newcoast Drive, Brgy. Yapak Boracay Island, Malay Aklan, Philippines, where the soft-sand beach beckons to sun-bathers.
As we check-in Ms.Eena, the gracious receptionist at the front desk greeted us with her warm smile and welcomed us with refreshing drinks. She explains the amenities and activities they offer at Belmont Hotel. She also mentioned the Sampaguita Pin she is wearing, which embodies Megaworld Hotels & Resorts' signature brand of service and the Sampaguita's medicinal benefits.
The hotel has a spacious lobby with a high ceiling, hanging lights, and comfortable seats. The walls are decorated in the shape of flying birds, and an abstract painting, with a blue floor carpet designed with sea corals, livens the entire lobby.
We are accommodated in a two-bed De Luxe Room with a balcony facing a hillside view of lush greenery, the ocean view at the right, and the Savoy Hotel building at the left. The room is jazzed up with artwork that harmonizes well with the throw pillows and blanket covers. A bedside table and a cozy single-seater sofa chair by the window make it a perfect reading spot. We are welcomed with a special greeting note and a small sweet treat to whet our appetite and with a tea and coffee maker with ample supplies. The bathroom is well-designed and functional, with bath linens, basic amenities, toiletries, and a hair dryer. Our room is spacious enough and can comfortably accommodate a family of four. Meanwhile, right outside our room is a relaxing skylight mini garden atrium with flowers in bloom that add life to the place.
The facade of Belmont has wide, long stairs with a viewing platform fronting the beach, convenient and the perfect vantage point for panoramic sunrise watching. We are happy that we woke up at dawn and were blessed to witness the day's transformation into breathtaking morning glory. We enjoyed every moment and were thankful for the great experience.
Breakfast is non-negotiable, especially since it's complimentary, an amenity in our hotel accommodation package.
After gracing the rising of the glorious sun, we started our day sunny-side-up with a breakfast buffet at Belmont Cafe.
Belmont Cafe is the all-day dining place of Belmont Hotel, opens from 6 AM to 10 PM. The dining area is spacious with enough seating space, good centralized air-conditioning, drop lights projected over the dining tables, and its glass window wall that gives nature a helping hand to maximize the available daylight.
The buffet is presented on a center island with a combination of Filipino and American breakfast selections. Being naturally light, most salads make a suitable and healthy breakfast. Fresh fruits are a good combination with vegetable salads for textures, colors, and tastes. Appetizers of cheese, green olives, cucumber, and salami are best paired with choices from the baskets of assorted bread. Other choices are oatmeal cupcakes, native kakanin, waffles, honey and jams, sunny-side-up eggs, roasted potatoes, and cereals with milk. Hot meals are plain congee, hard-boiled eggs, chicken teriyaki, pork longgadog, pork & beans, steamed okra, and buttered penne pasta. Beginning our breakfast with a serving of a simple tea drink is soothing, refreshing, and relaxing, making us feel instantly better. Choices of hot brewed coffee and chilled juice are also available that perk up our morning treat.
Being outdoors is healthy. It is where you capture the beauty of nature you rarely see. Spend a wonderful trip to the beach and ride on the HOP ON - HOP OFF bus to Newcoast Beach, one of Boracay Island's best places. You can go barefoot to warm your feet and enjoy walking along the powdery sand, swimming, or basking in the sun by the shore. You can ride the sleek two-passenger kayak with paddleboard perfect for getting near and getting a closer look at the Boracay Keyhole and seeing a few parasailing float above, or enjoy the breathtaking view of the beach with your special someone. Savor the moment at Belmont Hotel Boracay and Newcoast Beach, and you are guaranteed to return home with unforgettable experiences and memories!
