That long tape is basically the same thing as Apple used to hold a battery in place, just longer.
This is great but I cannot get the connector from the chromebook to go into the connector of the new screen. What am I doing wrong here?
How do you replace a track pad on the cb 315 3h...i cant find instructions anywhere all the vidwos ofnother chromebooks you opennit up and remove brackets and can rekove the track pad but on this one there is no bracket holding it in its apart of the plastic body and.looks like it can only be removed from the top, where the keyboard is and not where u take the back off.. i dont knownif i explained that proper

No. Since 2016 pretty much all chromebooks have their ram and storage soldered to the motherboard.

My screen is N156HCN-EAA Rev.C1. Maybe yours is different. Link is correct
