Jacko absolutely blitzed that start, but never seemed to shift gears for the last 50m. She didn't respond when Richardson came up on her shoulder and didn't dip at the line. One wonders if Shericka came here to nail the start and coast home after a busy championship weekend. Big things are coming, and I can't see her with anything but gold around her neck in Budapest. Richardson looked pretty good for her part, she's eating 10.7s for breakfast, and congrats to a massive sub ten PB to Swoboda. Happy it could finally happen for her on home turf.

I wouldn't say Shericka threw the race she just didn't go as hard as she probably could. Seeing that she is a 200m specialist a stronger end is what would be expected of her and I guess that's why people are saying that but we move on to Budapest and congrats to Shacarri....

Attitude is a big thing in the sport and I disliked hers... Now, I'm liking her.
It looked like shericka Jackson ran the race as if she just wanted to get it over with. It looked like she didn't put much fight into it. I have watched both athletes run over and over and Jacko did not give Richardson a true Jacko competition. To me this win for Richardson just made them even from the loss of last season. To me Jacko is still the faster .Budapest race will determine the true leader.

Most of these athletes make lots more money from sponsorship deals (shoe and apparel contracts) than from diamond league. A world or olympic champion will definitely be able to sign more lucrative contracts than someone who is just winning diamond league races.
