      @@augustinaorielboatemaa7619 hello, I can say that I applied for the GCE program (global change ecology), and the deadline was I think June 15th, so I had an interview in July and got the official admission letter a couple of days later. It was right in the middle of July

    Considering whether or not to accept the admission offer from Bayreuth.
    But the high student density could lead to job complications.
    How hard is finding a student job in Bayreuth?

    • @samsfinance6862
      @samsfinance6862  2 роки тому

      Hey! That depends a bit on what are you going to study?

      @@samsfinance6862 Jura with Staatsexamen. Does the company part you said apply to that or just business administration?

    • @samsfinance6862
      @samsfinance6862  2 роки тому

      I'm no expert on Jura jobs but I think you might be able to get a working student job in a legal department of a company in Bayreuth. Otherwise you can and I would try to get a normal business administration working student job cause it's mostly MS office tasks anyway (basically has nothing to do with what you learn during business administration studies)

      @@samsfinance6862 I see. So assuming I can't get a legal department job, is the business administration type of job easy to get or hard due to student competition?
      Or a job in a Cafe or anything else. Is there competition or are jobs easy or moderate to find? Cause if I can't finance myself I would have to drop out. I'm not German, so my study visa will depend on having sufficient funds. And my parents can only finance up to two years max as of now.

      Okay I see - so I found it quite easy to find jobs in Bayreuth - I had 3. I think it's very important for the job hunt if you can speak German (this is the case for most of Germany).

    Do you know at Bayreuth Uni for Msc Computer Science English, is it really really hard? Or when you study or if you follow classes well you can handle it mostly?
    And of the topic but what about the parties? Eveery week there are parties or it is really less than other places in germany?

    • @samsfinance6862
      @samsfinance6862  Рік тому

      Sorry can't say anything on Computer Science but generally University of Bayreuth is not easy I'd say.
      Not a party expert but of course there is less going on especially during the semester holidays than in Erlangen, Nuremberg or Munich

      @@samsfinance6862 and do you think is there a discrimination or unfriendliness towards foreigners? Because I keep seeing Bavaria called conservative. So I just want to know how about Bayreuth? Could you please tell me your observations?

    • @samsfinance6862
      @samsfinance6862  Рік тому +1

      No I don't think so. Also its a student city with many internationals from Africa and China especially. I've lived together with students from Spain, Syria and Singapore and I've never heard of issues. Generally the Franconia region might not be the most open or friendly one but that has nothing to do with discrimination

      @@samsfinance6862 oh that's great to know man. Especially I liked when you mentioned it's a Campus University. Because I like all programs studying around the common buildings. That enables you to find and keep friendships easier with other people. But in a bigger city where people study in different campuses if you even met someone, you are less likely to keep that friendship as you don't see each other often...
