I love the vendor who's not ashamed of Jesus Christ. Awesome
Why should he be ashamed ??
No one should be ashamed of Jesus.
He has really encouraged me to have pride in knowing the truth of the redeemer Jesus
God bless my born again Brother Phillip(Vendor guy)
In Nakuru everyone is big on Christianity. I lived there and everyone is like that.
Every visitor gets a Kenyan Name. You are officially Kinuthia.😅
That preacher, the born-again market person was the real deal, confident, eloquent and friendly
And a bit stubborn😃😃
The Born Again Philip really feels reborn. He is as happy and carefree as a child. 😂😂
Yes he really enjoying it
The way Yves is enjoying his meals, let’s hope he won’t be too heavy for his bike once it’s fixed 😂
His weight in Kenya . is already breaking his bike .
🤭😂
R.I.P to those ripe avocados at the bottom of the bag...😥😥🤣🤣
I've really laughed so hard. 😂😂😂
🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
The preaching in the market with your bag held hostage !!! Hahahaha Best scene ever
This is why tourists are always told, Kenya is not just about safaris, only the adventurous ones get to find out.
Halfway through the video I couldn't hold back.. If only Kenyans could come down south of the continent to help us. Here, we are not too friendly and welcoming to strangers. We seem too angry with life for nothing.. I know my fellow Southern Africans, be it Zimbabweans, South Africans, Batswana, AmaSwati, etc, we won't want to come clean about it. Kenyans outdo us a great deal in terms of being friendly. welcoming and being simply jolly..
I visited SA and noted that many encounters were rude. could be from the history of the people.
I am a Southern African who has lived in Kenya. I can confidently say you have no idea what you are talking about. I could not wait to get out back to Southern Africa due to the endemic corruption and constant threat of being swindled. I had so many negative experiences with so many people including the police. I even had stuff pilfered from an airfreighted package. What you see here is a snapshot of a mzungu’s life who they expect to benefit from. I can assure you they have nothing to teach Southern Africans.
@@lul3jonMost at times, you get back the kind of energy you give.
@@mathssolutions3635 What kind of energy would I be giving if my stuff was being stolen from official spaces without my personal interaction? I could not get anything done without a bribe and trying to seek official assistance was seen as a bother to officials and clearly a waste of time - until a bribe was paid when things would move at lightning speed. Anecdote: One time after a package had gone missing I was told I looked like I could afford to get a replacement. The audacity! I can take a one-off incident but when this kind of nonsense happens all the time it becomes frustrating. I even had to pay bribes to get official government passes that I was entitled to for my job. Probably a mzungu passing through on a jolly would be treated differently and therefore have a nicer experience. You may wish to note that Kenya ranks higher on the corruption scale than most Southern African countries. Yup, tell me about energy.
You can get robbed/swindled in any major city in the world.kenya is not perfect but the people are miles ahead in terms of humility and just general kindness than most other countries.we don't burn our fellow Africans on the streets because they're foreigners,we don't vandalize their businesses.quite the opposite.we welcome them...yours is just jealousy and misplaced patriotism 😂
Kenyan people are the most friendly people in the world I love Kenyan people
Welcome to Kenya
Asante ❤
his bike being broken in Kenya turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Now he gets to enjoy Kenya longer
In Kenya we say every market has a mad man......😂😂😂😂😂Yves has learned it the hard way......
He even found the stereotypical market mad man 😂
Haha.. there is a mad man in every market
Man thats a jackpot.
😂😂😂
Every market place has a mad man.
😂😂
Wow! Kenyans are lovely people. I watched your vedios. I like Kenyans so much. They are sociable and having great skill of customer handling. From Addis Ababa. Ethiopia 🇪🇹
In Kenya we love Ethiopian culture. I can't wait to be able to visit.

Its long since I was at home Nakuru, I just saw my mum in the market❤❤.. I really miss her am proud of you kinos.
Woow that must heart warming 😍😍😍
😮
Kino you are right. Foreigners want to live in Kenya because of the people and the country. So welcoming and good vibes !😊
let me help u on how to cook omena....first pick out dirt from the omena then boil it in water, drain the water as u pour out the scales from the omena.rinse again with cold water and let the omena drip to dry.in a cooking pan add cooking oil and omena in the hot oil and let your omena fry till almost cripsy brown and add your onions and salt and stir well...next add tomatoes and garnish with capsicum and corriander.,,enjoy your omena with ugali
I will try it myself thanks ❤
at the frying stage remember to use more oil....it works better to avoid the omena burning...u can use any spice of the choice at tomato adding stage and remember to cover at this stage to make the tomato soften.n yeah, use very red ripe tomato@@pichunakichuna2111
Ok
Kenya looks great 👍, perfect natural country
When it comes to eating...you never disappoint😊😅 "Kang'ethe tiga ûrimû,hûra mbica"😅😅
yes! and he has a very good palette imo could easily be a food vlogger
😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂......
Watching this guy going to kenya, I can confirm that everyone kenya is literate well versed in English.
The education system in Kenya is pretty good. Most of the people in the streets could actually be university graduates or at least form 4 leavers.Am Kenyan too and i was amazed bearing in mind we mostly speak Swahili in the streets and speak English mostly in officially conversations.
That vendor was right...You must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven...Eternal life
Am from Ethiopia l love kindness of Kenyan people really ❤❤❤❤
Hello my friend!
With each video you post from Kenya, I keep saying to myself I need to visit Kenya. The people are so friendly and it looks like a beautiful country 😊
Welcome to Kenya. Our warmth is our identity.
You are very much welcome
The guy who forced you to eat is the real O.G.
That's some high level CSR. Feeding a random hungry white man by force.... 😂
Lake Nakuru National Park is so beautiful and breathtaking. The last bit of the video was such a lovely surprise.
I really enjoyed the switch from the busy lively noisy streets to the quiete serenity of the national park. Such a contrast from just one city alone.
Actually guys, Yves was in Nakuru two months ago. That's how backdated these videos are . Which means we should have enough content about his Kenyan adventures up-to maybe March until he enters Uganda. 😅👍Hopefully the experiences keep getting better. These vlogs are awesome!
That means he may be in another country by now. I think this is a trick to avoid being traced by people with ulterior motives.
So he is going to give us videos like medicine, we are idle bana we need 3 per week 😂
My goodness,I didn't know they're so late like this! Anyway it's amazing connecting with him,I understand Why it's important for them to be posted a bit late especially for him as a Traveller.
@@lightning369 very true
Spoiler alert 🙄
-"Number one: he forgives all your sins".
-"That's great, yeah"
XD
😂😂😂it's the Kikuyu guy." Hura mbica"and am jaluo 😂😂...Kenya is such a great country
Mere twi háhá 🤣🤣
he also added that his father is from brazil
There is a Kenyan saying that "Every market has a madman" you found him😅
I admit that I admire Phillips faith. We can can learn from him.
You will really miss Kenya. I have a feeling you will make Kenya your home! 😂
Lake Nakuru National Park is just mesmerizing. I camped there and I have great memories. I never got to see the main town so well though. I love how industrious and organised the market is. I really love Kenyans. ❤️
Kenya is so beautifully reflected Yves - you really have made me want a visit❤
10:55 this guy Philip just gave a reason in a shorter way than all the books . Yves makes me proud to be a kenyan!
The guy who sold you ugali 700 bob should see you eating this whole food for 650 bob 😂
😂
14:15 "but you are not a local. Foren..." IYKYK🤣🤣
Even though you have some challenges with your bike,I think you need to consider to stay in Kenya 🇰🇪 for sometime , you're connecting well with the locals.
He has already gone
Wakenya mko na low self esteem
@@bengaliveshows I don't think 🤔 so, it's okay to be nice to visitor's, Kenya's has the highest self esteem in the world 🌍!we have visitors who sometimes are so hash to locals, but for him he's connecting well, but I don't mean he should stay, he's on transit.
@@benwisecomedy9314 yeah, he's always on transit but whenever he has time,he does connect well with locals
Very well I agree with you
"My name is Philip and I am born again!" Amen....so am I brother!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I prey for Yves to be come one too!!
Yves ne devrait pas quitter le Kenya. Il est comme un poisson dans l'eau parmi les habitants de ce beau pays. En plus la nourriture a l'air absolument excellente. Il ne pourrait pas s'en lasser.
Im Kenyan having lived in Mombasa,Kisumu and currently in Nairobi,I wanna visit Nakuru City now!!

Ah, nothing much. I went with Twinslet on one island during summer, and it was nothing special. Twinslet demanded I marry them and I didn't want to. I like to be single.
@@nebojsa1976wth are you? 😂
@@faithgaiciumia1608 I'm fluppydoo. And you?
@faithgaiciumia1608 I was wondering too 🤔 😂
@@goafricatoursltd Are you pumpidoo? Fluppydoo and pumpidoo usually get along really well.
I grew up in Nakuru so getting very sentimental vibes here. So just to correct you gently - Jamia Hotel serves Somali food. It isn't Swahili food. My top 5:
5. The two honest ladies giving you back change - so sweet.
4. The chicken guys - they really sent that obnoxious guy on is way and protected you!
3. The Jamia folk who served you so well.
2. The friendly Kenyans who were soooo nice!
1. Manchester United guy - a real Red (tomatoes) who was absolutely fantastic!
PS: The waiter at Jamia asked you in Swahili 'where is the girl today?'. Then we met Twinslet again - we need to know if you found love, Yves? We love Twinslet. 🥰
Is this that thing they call attacking while defending?😂😂😂
when they served half meat and white rice i knew it that is somali owned although am not from nakuru 😂
I want a piece of land in nakuru. Can you connect me with a good seller
Mimi kitu inasumbua kwa hii vlog na the previous one is how I can get that sweetgirl that took him to church and childrens home. That girl is a vibe buana siiieeet!
Nice vlogs loving it all through.
She's on TikTok, I searched her and was disappointed she's not as christian on TikTok as she was that day in church
Hiyo ni kitu yake buana. Evidently
That lady was a vibe for sure
Nakuru market is very organized and clean unlike Nairobi dirty market's 😅
You are right. It is notably clean.
True
True, I wonder how it would have turned out in Muthurwa or wakulima market in Nairobi.
It's his appetite for me🙌
It's the born again person for me🙌🙌 publicly professing Christ Jesus🙌🔥
Your love for avocado is unparalleled 😂
I was born and raised in Nakuru but Yves has explored this market more than I have ever gone. I am surprised to see some sections here. Good job Yves 🔥
Out of all the videos you made so far. I love this episode because you took your time to showcase the beauty of Nakuru at the end in which I hope you should consider doing every time you enter a country, City or a town to give thanks to Africa and it people at large and thanks me later.
This guy who loves Jesus is awesome,,, i love the way he is explaining...he as preached a good news to alot of people around the world... I promise you guys this video will get alot of views by next year the time like this than any of his videos...take it to the bank i have spoken

So excited to see my hometown again. I have been away too long and i was praying to god to let me see at least one familiar face. And bang, my prayer was answered. There was Philip Thiong'o one of my childhood friends still doing what he does best, running his grocery stand at the famous market. And to cap it all, still preaching the Good News about Jesus Christ. I also saw a couple more familiar but older faces. Such viibes gives me great nostalgia after being away for almost 30 years. Thank you bro Yves for reminding me of my beautiful vibrant home town..have been following your exciting journey from Ethiopia thru kenya from here in Seattle. God bless you as you explore our beautful world. Keep safe bro. 😊
You know Philip Thiong'o, he's my neighbour
That is a great story my friend. I was so inspired to see Philip. Wish I could visit Kenya and meet him someday. He always preached the gospel like this?
@@JaydenJose01 Please send my greetings to Philip. I’m from Brazil and really was touched by his preachings. I wish I could meet him someday.
