Generative Fill In Photoshop - Low Resolution Fix!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 лип 2024
- The new Generative Fill in the Photoshop Beta is incredible. But unfortunately, it outputs images that are 1024px on the longer side. Then it stretches them out over larger areas which can cause pixelation.
In this video, you will learn how to keep your generated images as sharp as possible!

Log into Behance.
Set/change your date of birth.
Restart.
Solved it for me.
@@jvat that option is not coming and actually I have made a behance account before with same email and when I click on behance it directly sign in to my old account
Definitely learned 2 new things. Didnt know equations could be used in input boxes and didnt know the resolution limitation for AI in PS. Thanks for both tips!
This is gold, wonderful demonstration 👏🏻👏🏻
Perhaps genfill will get automatic tiling added in the future. It's a technique used for generating higher resolution images with Stable Diffusion as opposed to upscaling, and it works really well as you found here with PS.
Absolutely fantastic - Fast and simple, love it!
I've been wondering about what creative ways there were around the low-res results, and had come across a similar process, albeit in a much more rudimentary way. Thank you so much for this!
Great tip. I wouldn't have known anything about adding a plus to the width. Very clever!
Amazing, learn something new each time I watch his videos. Lots of cool tips.
Awsome fix, Thank you, Jesús!
Simply the best. Always.
Thanks, Jesús. Very valuable. Also, I didn't know you could add to the width using "+".
You're welcome, morcjul!
I was thinking that the other day, I haven't tried it out myself, but I haven't seen many videos about the badly done ai it does......as a graphic designer, i felt that the ai, seems to be blamed, less sharp...noticeable for me, but i'm guessing 95% of people wouldn't really care. Great fix though.

Thank you so much for nice explanation
Thanks man. This will help me a lot.
Excellent info and great addition tip!
Excellent solution, thanks! After this process, adding a bit of sharpening and grain using Camera Raw Filter works like a charm.
great tip!
One of the few tubers that I enjoy watching that don’t put me to sleep!
Great idea!!! Thnxx
amazing tip! thanks a lot!
Amazing tip!!
This is awesome & super helpful! Thanks bro!
Great tips!
Super cool!!!
Helpful, Thanks
Wow just found your channel and i am amazed! Thanks for sharing.
This has been bugging me so much. As you say it's not a perfect fix but it works amazing. Thank you!
Thank you so much man ! 🙏
This tip is jaw dropping good. And with Photoshop actions, there's minimal downsides to this technique.
Thank GSP !!!
THANK YOU
So helpful! Thank you. Like you said, this is not talked about enough!
Thank you
amazing!! great one!
Thank You Sir 💯
Thank you ❤️❤️🥰
Oh i dont know this so thank you for help really nice !!!
I was glad you mentioned the 'Relative' check box in Canvas Size. I was thinking 'but but but...' when you demonstrated the use of equations. I knew we could do that in some dialog boxes, but not all of them, and it is absolutely going to be a useful tool at times. I'd appreciate a quick demo of using an Action with this, as I can't think how you would tell the action where to make each selection. You could make an action to add the 1014 pixels to each side, except you would do it in one step adding 2028 pixels to the width leaving the direction (anchor) arrows in their default state. We have some handy scripting guys on the Adobe forums like Stephen Marsh, so I might run it by him/them.

Isn't it easier to use the "frame" tool, the effect is the same?
photoshop cafe has a free action for it
Thanks
cool tip, thanks
Thats very cool tip 🔥
Brilliant, Jesus! Thank you.
That is brilliant!! I’m loving the new tool. Best AI tool I’ve ever used.
Well that was helpful - thanks
Very helpful information. Thanks Jesus👏🏻
This is good to know, many thanks from Nova Scotia...
You my friend are amazing. Ever. Thanks for share.
thanks
It’s getting real with these Tools
perfect man
thx you man
I don’t just Like and Subscribe, but I also SAVE your videos in my Photoshop Playlist so I can go back to them later.😁
Thank you for this! I thought I was imagining things (or doing something wrong - who knew there was a 1024 limit???) Also learned about the equations in input boxes. Thank you so much.
Wow 🤩 you’re just amazing
Yep, you're awesome
This is so good
Great tks
I came for gold but found PTC 😍😍😍😍💕
holy shit. thank you!
Love that you can use + and add a fixed width! Thanks Jesus!
Calculations in the Canvas size? I had no idea! Game changer. 🎉
Math works in almost all Adobe software. 😊
oh That's Amazing
Saved my bacon. Was pulling my hair out on this one. Beautifully constructed tutorial too.

Genius
Better from now on name the group Photoshop (beta) training channel!!!
came to this now that it's out of beta and still an issue. Thanks for the fix!
Good tips. I suppose you could save the selection so that you could apply it. 😊
Well the saved selection would be on the spot you saved it. It's easier/faster to just click where you want it. But whatever works!

boooom thanks
Ah mannnnn, make us the action! :D Pleeasaseee ;) thanks :) x
Amazing - as always. Nothing more to say.... ;-)
ooh damn its awesome, lol i dont even use Ps anymore!
This is very helpful!! Thank you
Probably they would do the tile stuff in the future, or upscale stuff at the final image using low res as a base. they had an idea already to solve this issue.
Thank you for producing these tutorials! Super helpful. I used the 1024x1024 technique, but I did notice a diagonal pixel pattern in my results that did not match the scene. Do you have a workaround?
good luck getting through to this guy he's buried in photoshop pillows
also use the spot healing brush bud
Wow!
Благодарю!
In Automatic 1111 it's the same that 's why upscale tool are inside. Thx for the tips
So what is the difference between this and Content Aware Fill / Scale? I guess each has its own use?
Great video. Good to know I don’t have to get the calculator out😂
Excellent Tutorial. It would be nice to tell to your favorite AI to build an PS Action based on that. Full circle, Welcome Cyberdyne Corp.
super
im just gonna add you can also just eyeball it and do it w the marquee tool and it will work too and be better quality
I love that you mentioned the equations - it was something that i learned at my very first design job in 2003! Time flies, and i still use that knowledge to this day. Thanks for your helpful videos as always. It's crazy how much Photoshop has changed in the past 20 years and you help keep me up to date!

My God. What is this? 1996? Great explaination and video :) hope Adobe is fixing this soon.
what if your selections are lower than 1024 but spread through canvas? What ive noticed is that the more you select the more blurry it gets.. so Im sticking to this method now! Thanks
you are the best jesus /eres el mejor Jesús.
What if we want to use custom backgrounds images for composite we should need an option to load custom images in generative fill bar for changing the backgrounds !
wow! that should be the official Onboarding Tip when you open Photoshop with Autogenerative AI function for the 1st time
Adobe is killing the competition without mercy! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I've seen several posts 'talking about it' warning of the issue. Post beta this may be better than 1024. That said I do appreciate the post. Just kind of a pet peeve when folks exaggerate issues whatever the motivation.
Bro how to fix 18age require while using generative ai
Wow
When I use generative fill in 1024px selected area it still generates a much larger square, and selected 1024px square just getting masked inside of it. I'm still getting a blurry result. Maybe it has something to deal with canvas resolution (pixels/inch), I used 72px/inch.
