Another Fantastic Find, Excellent bag of records ,all look fantastic £33 great purchase, Madonna record unusual sleeve, the promos they sell them you can find them,Thank You,, Steve
Love that hype sticker on the Genesis Invisible Touch album. I went to the see them at Roundhay Park Leeds on June 28th 1986, one of the dates on the sticker!
The “E” in WEA stands for Elektra Records. The “A” stands for Atlantic Records. Warner Brothers bought both of the other labels. Promotional copies found there way into private hands a lot. I won several in radio station contests back in the 1970s.
Eurythmics are one of those artists you can almost get by with the hits compilation, although the first album ' In The Garden' is fantastic in my opinion. Pretty common titles but nice to get promo originals and those with the hype stickers were interesting to see.
The Status Quo-'Piledriver' (1972) was thier 5th album, but their first on Vertigo Records. All Vertigo vinyl, eg Thin Lizzy's-'Jailbreak' is very collectable.
@thevinylvault I know you've definately got some great records. You obviously have a strong passion for collecting. I have seen lots of your videos and you do show some very interesting finds on occasion. I was like you once upon a time. I would buy anything I found that I thought had some merit but you just end up with piles of stuff you never play, needlessly filling up 'valuable' shelf space and every spare nook and cranny you can find - and then you have to somehow get rid of it all again. It becomes overwhelming. I have a large collection myself but instead of buying 33 albums for £33, these days I'd rather occasionally spend a decent sum on one really good record knowing that I will enjoy and treasure it for the rest of my life. I think you will reach that point yourself once you get past quantity over quality and you are certainly not alone in the vinyl community on that score. I do like your videos and I really enjoy your enthusiasm.
Thanks for takin the time to watch and comment however, forgive me if I don’t give a detailed response. I am starting to receive a large amount of comments and messages and I just don’t have the time to respond to each and every one in detail. If you receive a thumbs up from me it means I have read and appreciate your comments. Thank you and good hunting!
Haha I could make loadsa comments but one will do, last week I listened to a copy of brothers in arms dire straits and it has not dated well apart from the hits overplayed back in the day, I liked it back then but now only the title track and chirpy walk of life I can manage. Nice finds mate see you are piling up the pink Floyds on your bottom shelf for the vinyl apocalypse or something ;-)
No that came in a pink floyd collection I bought from a lead from the boot sale. I need to go through it all and show some of it. Lots of it you can see in the racks.

Deacon Blue are a Scottish pop rock band formed in Glasgow during 1985.

Thanks, as always I appreciate your comments.
All the Madonna albums are like that no miss press sleeve, the earlier copies of Like a Virgin did not have the song Into The Groove on.
Thanks for confirming, much appreciated.
Yes, I thought that was a miss pressed sleeve as well, but as you say every copy is printed that way.
The Status Quo-'Piledriver' (1972) was thier 5th album, but their first on Vertigo Records. All Vertigo vinyl, eg Thin Lizzy's-'Jailbreak' is very collectable.
Thanks for you interesting comments, they are very much appreciated.

It really is very hard to get excited about any of this stuff, but, if you're happy, I guess thats all that matters...l
I hear you and fully understand. Maybe you should check out my other playlists. There's some great stuff in there. All the best.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I have too many variants of the pink floyd stuff. I must thin it out when I get a chance.
That says more about you than dire straits!
@@Thevinylscavenger I’ve just seen a pig fly over my house? Sorry it simply cannot be true
In relation to the our price sticker the letters are possibly the initials of the person who priced it up.
Wow! How about that.
VCLT all
I would have bought Genesis, Kate Bush, and Quo then left the rest, not to my taste!
Good choice and thank you for your comments.
Wish You Were Here immersion box set on the shelf...Nice.. don't tell me that was at a bootsale?
