I have to tell you for over a decade I've been using basically this same technique for both turkey and chicken and it is magical. It's made it so that people insist I do the holiday birds. The only thing I do differently is I salt the butter herb mix and rub it under the skin of the turkey 24-48 hours in advance. 🍗😍

At what temp did you roast? Same temp the whole time? Did you cover with foil at anytime? Thanks
@@dmott9750 at 325 F and same temperature for the whole time and no need to cover with foil.
