Absolute banger of a video! I don’t think people really appreciate the value of increasing raw inputs in a probability game.. combine that with content goals, monster box, relative upgrades, preparing for the unknown (or niche builds to throw people off) and there’s quite a bit of things you can consider when upgrading/selling runes. Combine this with storing runes on 1* units, anyone can build a little rune empire.
I had a Guldie who joined our guild awhile back.. he had 3 min b10 teams that were inconsistent at best.. but he asked a lot of questions and actively tried to improve. Fast forward a year later and he passed a dozen members in our guild in EVERY aspect of the game, and consistently got 10-0s in rank 200 sieges. All the people he passed? They had several years of farming on him and always complained about ‘runes always drop garbage’.

Wow that chronicles bar graph thing for stats is amazing. I've gotten pretty used to eyeballing efficiency but tbh it would be much easier to get an idea of it at just a glance with that graph

1000 rune space is so low
I feel like if you could theoretically store another 500*6=3000 runes in storage why not skip that loop and make it easier for us
Rune space is ok, because u can put runes on 1* and upgrade sell runes later

I just like to keep any rune that has stats that make sense together (or if it's a tripple roll in a useful stat) and has close to max hero efficiency.
Innates can make your low rolled heroes actually viable if they make sense too.
And also there are worldboss runes, i have about a dozen of them, like slot 3 + 20 res +20 acc legendary despair.

You not gonna believe it, his tip really helps. I played the games on and off for about 5-6 years and still cant even hit c3. Now i realized how many times i actually sold a rune that seems mediocre actually its my best in slot . Reason being I dont check my current BIS rune for certain subs like hp%, acc%, atk% etc. Great video mate!

It's also good to keep runes that got different speeds so speed tuning is not that complicated

That is mostly what I' am doing with my runes. Try to roll everything and keep high rolling runes but I immediately sell runes with subs of 2 or more Flat default stats.
Every quad speed ive gotten was 25 spd, however they have been really good in the form of efficiency
Could be interesting to have an Excel sheet. You config all these parameters, than you put your X or Y. And by putting all the stats of the runes it shows if it's SELL or KEEP. Great video! Thank youuu
would be interesting, but its not that black and white, where its easy to put to a sheet :P
Ok i`m on 07 :52 but because it is legend and you consider better a rune that is only hero, would the legend rune get a better eff roll is you reroll vs a very good hero one, or the investment is not worth it to reroll substats ?

I haven't played in a while. Recently got back into the game. Is limited rune storage still a thing? Or can you have as many runes saved up as you want now?
still limited to 1k in storage, but you can make it more by just placing runes on 1star units in storage
At some point in the video I understood you are only keeping triple rolls? I keep lots of runes that have decent rolls spread in the substats. I don't have that many triple rolls. Is that better to manage the runes efficiently?

Question: do you do account optimization for players who wish to pay you? I am a C3 player but I’ve never had my account optimized. Is that something you’d be interested in doing? I would even be okay with my account being used as an example video if that’s something you wanted.

How do you keep track of what runes you have or need? That is the biggest thing for me. I always forget what I already have and so I end up keeping a heap of suboptimal runes. Do you have like a spreadsheet or something?

I wish they would make it that runes rolled powered up like they did with artifacts. It would make it way easier to help set parameters of do I keep or not?
yea would make things very easy. because then you can set limits as minimum 18spd 20 hp etc
my problem isnt what runes to keep, its that i have 70+ unique nat5 units as well as every single elemental 4 star.
almost none of them have decent runes, (of course some do) how do i spread the insanely small amount of good runes we get among those units!!

You didn't talk a lot about broken set. Do you have many broken sets on your account ?
Because i'm always thinking when having an efficient rune without the right stats, or on weird set, 'oh well it will be for a broken set'

i have a lot of broken sets, especially since I rune with optimizer these are often picked up. most of my PvE teams are based on broken sets
Not only have I been playing wrong... but totally messed up my file. Does anyone have any pointers that could absolutely help me ACTUALLY progress? I feel so overwhelmed with all of this new info.

except if you save the 3000 scrolls for one of the events that gives you 1 for 10 used, you would have netted an extra 300 scrolls....

Farming on rift beast will help u farm mana faster, 10k each run, sell rare enchant for 20k manas, hero 30k, legend 35k(?) Manas.. well if your goal only manas..

I'm here. Probably haven't played in 2 years. I was mostly free to play. Only opened my wallet for a couple of the transcendence scroll deals. I had come back after a good break and set some goals for myself. Played for a few years got TOH on auto (Goal1), Solo R5 team (Goal2), Got all top dungeons on farm to be close to or sub 1min (Goal3), Get out of Fighter 3 Arena and get to C1-3 (Goal4). Made all those goals and pretty much quit after that. I also did get Seara right at the end which was my most wanted mon since I started.
I think about coming back once in a while but life has gotten too busy. I could actually keep up farming to stuff for auto pilot. But when it comes more to actually playing the game like configuring mons, setting runes, RTA, etc. Just don't have time for all that. I remember spending an ENTIRE DAY just f'ing around with runes and organizing them.
The killer reason why I finally quit was having NO LD nat 5s. I do have some good LD nat 4s like Tablo and Martina but after having played so long it is pretty demoralizing to realize that a brand new account that got an LD nat 5 is worth more than my account which I spent playing for many many years.

If you're inclined to watch someone play rs for the first time with no quest guides and decent editing experience I highly recommend Flip and his series "A RuneScape Noob plays rs for the first time". Gave me lots of nostalgia watching him stumble upon rs like we did back in the 2000s

played this game for years. half of my guild members still cant understand rune eff which is really sad.. their goal is just to summon LD5 and Nat 5 to flex among guildies. how i wish they would watch this video and understand how to really play summoners war. Having good runes will make ur game more enjoyable than having a LD5 which is sitting in storage without runes
"How to really play" depends on the player, some people just wanna summon, farm cairos with 1:30 teams, and do nothing else. Not the way I play, but as long as they're having fun then it's all good.

thats precisely the misconception addressed in this video, Hero's can highly improve your account, you don't need quad rolls and don't need quad spds to improve for about 99.9% of the accounts.
