I literlaly disenchanted goblin prank yesterday, i had them only for one specific bad meme hunter deck and i thought i would never use this card again, and now you showing me this banger of a deck?
ive been trying to cook up a floppy hydra standard deck and i cant get it to work. i get a TON of renos who poof the minions away, and Ive had every other possible poof affect in standard used on me since, and running poofs isnt even meta. its a bad card because of how hs matchmaking works.
Hey Mark, i faced this really interesting deck while playing earlier that you may want to try. Its a mech rogue deck running zilliax with the stealth elusive + double attack combo and some mechs to magnetize before swinging face for lethal. And i just want to say, really enjoy your content and thanks for releasing daily videos!
@@alihorda The wording is basically the same as Student of the Stars, which doesn't take buffs into account. Seems very inconsistent that they behave differently
@@alihordait doesn't say that it keeps enchantments either. It's Blizzard being inconsistent with wording again. One day they will print cards with "Permanent" or some other keyword to say in one word that the card will keep every buff or debuff and not bother updating cards out of the Core Set with the verbose version of the effect
could have sworn i owned copies of dinomancy and goblin prank but disenchanted them, rats! Ended up crafting 1 dinomancy and 2 pranks. Didn't have enough dust for Mactavish so I settled with what I already had, 2 copies of DOn't feed the animals which works pretty decently
Mark, are there any hero powers that could go crazy with the new raza? THERE IS just transform yourself into ragnaros and spam free deal 8 fireballs everywhere! Hope you can cook with this idea.
Well, there's Reno with his bullets. If you make a highlander deck and get both Razas, you can pull off some crazy stuff. Aspecially with the mana regen one. There are also Galakrond for random fun and "Toxic quest" to buff some stealth/charge minions.
Xyrella hero can do work. Ping for 5 damage a pop. Can meme with JARAXXUS, EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION from Zephyrys and spam boards full of 6/6's.
The flavor is awful for this card A hydra would of course double its stats but why would a floppy hydra double its stats on deathraddle and get reshuffled? Wouldn’t a hydra who flops instead double and swap stats? As in it flip flops it’s stats. Then the card art shows a baby hydra and why does a baby dying cause it to revive with double stats? The card does not really make sense flavor wise though of course not every card has to, it’s just something nice to have.

I learnt that in an Arena run... Last time I played it the Hydra was like a 13/20, insane pile of stats with a bunch of buzzards.
They should nerf him… at least make him have +1 cost each time you shuffle it, or maybe 5 cost for starter

Could do something similar in standard with Bunny Stomper and Always a Bigger Jormungar as long as they play a minion to rush the hydra into.

Why is it better to play prank later? I would expect the opposite, play it on the first one so that the +3 gets multiplied more often.

Combo Idea:
1) Play Knife Juggler
2) Play Dr Morrigan
3) Play Baleful Banker targeting Dr Morrigan
4) Play Umbra
5) Play Ritual of Doom on Dr Morrigan
Sadly Morrigan has a hard cap on the number of times her ability can loop
I think Mark did it once long time ago. He said he had to use more jugglers because of the trigger cap
