Here from the analog artisans video annnnnd subscribed. Absolutely way too wholesome for me. Really just lifted my entire mood for the day. Love the images man!
Dude! Amazing film. This was more than a video. You took it to a whole new level. I can feel the joy you have. Now i have to go watch Lynch's "the Straight story" again. Loved everything you did. Intro, editing, all the shots (video and photo) the story, your buddy's portraits, the diner story, the moment together at the lake, your dad's place, the music, EV-ERY-THING! You shoot for yourself, not for a video. I dig it! Don't overpace, take your time and stay exactly like you are and I'll be a fan for life bro! Sending love from Germany.
Thank you so very much!! It’s so cool to hear how close attention you paid to it seriously thank you 🙏 and yes for sure I was going to shoot these photos whether I was making a video or not, I had received comments about wasting my film for this project but the thing is that every one of these photographs I made this day were extremely personal to me so in my eyes I didn’t waste a single shot. I’m really glad you noticed these details because it’s exactly what I wanted to portray for this video. It’s definetely my most personal one yet! Thanks again dude I really appreciate the kind words ❤️
@@chrisdunn3241 You are seen brother. I read the comment about wasting film and he/she just don't get it. I shoot the most trivial photos at times because i know those are the images that record what i felt at the time. Photos are not always evidence or art, there are records of feelings.
Love this dude. Also stumbled over here from Brian's analog artisans video, and damn, you're a good time! Felt like a hung with one of my hometown friends, made my day! Nice to see rad people doing what they love, instead of being overly technical or nerd out on some lens no one can afford. Dig your style dude, subscribed and looking forward to more of your stuff!
Thanks a ton! So glad you’re here 🙏 and hey I can’t afford nearly half of the things others are saying you should buy on here so I’m not gonna preach how you need some sort of gear to be a better photographer. It’s all about improvising with what ya got over here!
This is very wholesome and well shot/made. I'm hoping to do something similar soon up in the boonies where I grew up (pandemic permitting). Also love the mamiya! I've got the same one and it's one of my faves.
Thank you very much! So glad you enjoyed hopefully it helps give you some inspiration behind your own project 🙏 oh yeah I love that Mamiya I just started getting it out on the regular again now I can’t put it down!
"Nah don't worry just do your thing". One of my most commonly said phrases
Oh man I'm just loving this!!!

🌹❤️🥰
You went deep down in Illinois. Haha definitely need more portraits. Missing focus is all too easy but practice makes progress. Great video dude.
Thanks Bryan! After these first portraits I’m hooked now for sure, can’t wait to practice the craft some more
