I’m a total noob when it comes to Philips Hue and HomeKit. This was good information. 2nd to like, but first to comment and subscribe! Keep up the good job and others will follow. :)
Thank you for the unboxing and review. I just ordered this kit from Amazon and unfortunately I believe I’ve received a used return. As yours was neatly packaged and didn’t have burn marks on the bulbs.
Wow that’s really unlucky!.. Amazon are normally pretty good so would expect they will refund or swap them for you. It’s worth the effort, we love our lights. Thanks for checking out our channel ☺️
Thanks. Really helpful. I have iDevices switches in our home and am researching a proper light bulb as the ones I got from Amazon are a pain whenever the power goes out.
Thanks Robert... Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. I know hue kit isn’t the cheapest but it’s been very reliable for us so far... From what I’ve seen, the Nanoleaf options are pretty good too. Keep us posted on how you get on 👍🏻
@@tmbrgndy I’ve just ordered my first Hue bulbs for our new place in London after watching your video, and I feel I’m going to love this ecosystem! Once I get the new tv and Sonos surround sound going I think the Hue HDMI link is something to get…
Wow!! @Back in time outa time Thats brilliant, you won’t regret it. We have a video review on the hue hdmi sync box and light strip if you want to check them out and also have the welcome flood light and outdoor motion sensor to install and review in the next few months so stay tuned and subscribe if you would like… It really helps out a small channel like ours. Great name by the way!! 😁

It would be nice if Philips integrated the hub into the bulbs like some other brands.
I agree, it’s a shame that the new Apple TV 4K box can’t act as a hub for these sort of smart home accessories, it would be more than powerful enough.
@@tmbrgndy Philips Hue bulbs communicate with the bridge using the ZigBee protocol which the Apple TV unfortunately doesn't support.
Great review thank you!
Thankyou @Matt Alford that means a lot… I’m finally round to working on another video which will be up soon.
Thanks for watching ☺️
