- A recreation of the closedown screens and full loop of music which was used by S4C for around 10 mins shortly after closedown and just before start-up each night between c. 1999 and 2004. Always helped me sleep !

Excellent, I've been waiting nearly 6 years to hear that music again. I'd whistle it every day, loosing hope of ever finding it. Brilliant stuff.
It was also used during summer 2005 as that's when I would hear it getting ready for early flights from Bristol. One of my good memories of a summer based in the West country :)
It is called "Fitting Images" by Jimmy Kaleth if you want to download it, sourced it from UA-cam's music section in the description
I like the music and closedown and startup slides
I used to get S4C in analogue before Digital Switchover when it showed programmes in English and Welsh, This piece of music and screen was shown on there but the text was in English and Welsh too. I have this on Video Tape, I will try and find a way to upload this soon.
Windows NT 4.0 Powered Screens
this music is of when tescard stop showing
Does anyone know who wrote the music for S4C? There was one track that had five lines moving across the screen whilst it played, and it was such a good track. Im in Ireland, but was always able to pick up S$C back then. I think it was on when the interval between educational videos arrived. Does that ring a bell? God Jesus it was such a great audio track. Would love to know who wrote it. It had this falling, weeping vocal sound in it. I used to love it
willzer808 no but i have the video.
willzer808 The name of the song is called: Jimmy Kaleth - Fitting Image
Has anyone got a recording from when they had more than one tune playing over these slides.
Have you got any of this from the days when they used to play more than one track?
I was able to copy this piece of music and screens in English and Welsh on S4C Analogue from VHS to DVD, But I could not upload it, there was a problem with the file(s), on the DVD, but I will try again in the future.
