This is the absolute coolest factory I’ve ever seen. I saw someone complain about the music added to the video. Normally, I’m not a fan of added music, but it was a perfect addition to this video to turn this assembly line into a beautiful dance by the machines. The choreography of the dance between the huge machines waltzing these tiny bricks around and around was fun to watch. The way this massive machine picks up a load of bricks, swings around, flies off to another area, gently sets the load down, and then gives them a soft tap as if thanking them for the dance. Another machine swings them off for another round, then the sides step back, as if bowing after their dance. I’m not usually so fanciful, but whoever designed that factory did an incredible job. Thanks for sharing this with us.

the music is so fitting to the magic they are doing in that factory...it is inspiring to see...the logistical system is 70% of the work being done in that factory! it goes to show! and the place of big bulky automated machines each with their own excentric job alongside each logistical transport machine.........i really like it!

Simply amazing how manufacturing technology is being deployed. ❤️❤️
One thing caught my dislike though, the plastic wrapping! There may not be an immediate alternative but I think permanent steel cages could be used to eliminate the plastic. Yet the steel in itself adds to the cost and weight, hence a fair balance must be reached. Seems plastic is a necessary evil. With some more R&D, we may be able to come up with plastic that completely decomposes within 24 months. I hope so.

This kind of technology is used for making fire bricks. Is there any cost advantage in the process ? I know that the bricks will be super strong, as the mud is properly processed (many in India breaks merely while lifting, unless they are ghol-ki).

Mud bricks are only useful for single story buildings. They work well in hot climates with very little rainfall or when there is long enough dry spells between rains. They also provide natural humidity control in the building.
Fired bricks are preferred for wetter climates and when multi level buildings are being constructed. Yes, fired bricks are a lot more expensive as the choice of clay is more limited and firing is costly in terms of fuel consumption.
A little background from Germany on this. We historically never used mud bricks properly here, BUT mud/straw/wood frame constructions were once common. All those pretty historical "Fachwerk" (wood frame) buildings we show to the tourists originally had mud/straw filling. This was the cheapest way to build. But not very durable. You would either need to repair them each spring, adding a new layer of clay or cover them with burned chalk cement to make them somewhat waterproof.
Only churches, public buildings and rich merchant houses tended to be built with fired bricks. Obviously as time went by and Germany got richer fired brick became the standard, but it took till the 20th century before it reached the countryside.
