Is the entire frame metal? Which part is made of plastic

The underlying frame is metal, but the majority of what you see is plastic.

i no longer use those boom arms i got a low profile arm from elgato but i am upgrading for the fifine low profile arm i just hate arms like that low profile just stay out of the video view

I certainly don’t fault you at all for that opinion. Low profile arms can be great.
