#1 Must do meet TravelRuby, so I could know what to do 🎉. #2 visit las vegas sphere. #3 Las Vegas raiders stadium. 🏟️ #4 Hoover dam. 🦫 #5 helicopter ride over the city 🌃 at night!
Im glad I took my wife to Vegas several times years ago when she was healthy enough. We are from the Gulf coast of Florida,so the pool scene is no big deal. Now both retired and with health issues watching your videos brings back wonderful memories of past good times. The shows, food, gambling, shopping, sightseeing. Everyone should do Vegas at least once in their lives. Thank you
I'll throw the Mob Museum and the Underground Speakeasy into the mix! The museum is fantastic and the underground is a super fun spot, especially when they have live music!
We love the pools! We got a Cabana at Mandalay Bay once and it was so worth the money. We also love shopping, dining and sight seeing/people watching!!
Would love to see a favorites list. It's one thing to see a favorites list from someone who goes to Vegas once a year but it's something else entirely to hear favorites from someone who really knows it. Would be awesome. Cheers and thanks for the great Vegas coverage. Appreciate the work, research, and footage that goes into these videos. 🎉
Ruby! I want to thank you for every single thing you have shared on this video! My wife and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and her 40th birthday about 2 weeks ago and 2 days before Landing in Vegas I came across your video ! I helped us tremendously over there to have things to visit and do while in town ! Amazing recommendations ! We truly appreciated! We did probably about 50 percent of the things you named here , so a lot of walking around 😅. The Peppermill , Fremont , chandelier bar, carousel bar , and many more we wouldn’t have known if it was not for you ! Thank you 🙏! I would add to your list the barbershop for some cool drinks, and rock and roll , and the play playground at the Luxor which was so much fun to do ! Thank you ! You are truly the best !
Thanks for the great tips & for letting your kitties say hi-so cute! Love your channel-such great content and so well filmed-sets the standard for all the rest. ❤️ The Neon Museum is a wonderful experience, especially the night show.
We go to Las Vegas a lot. We have done a lot, including some of your recommendations, but you gave me some new ones. Gonna save this video for some inspiration on a future trip! Thanks Ruby!
Pancakes at The Peppermill was a Friday night ritual in college. We'd hit the books collecting the weeks parlay cards then plan our come up over late night breakfast. Great times!❤
I almost always take people to Pinball Hall of Fame, even when it was by UNLV. Last time family was in town we did an evening at McMullan's, across the street from the Orleans. It happened to be a slower night so the owner came out and probably spent 20-30 minutes just chatting with us. If I'm meeting folks for breakfast I usually suggest Blueberry Hill.
I find it fascinating how many drinks people can have in Vegas pools without visiting the restrooms. And while pools are large, they usually aren't deep, not that much water.
The best!! It's time for a major network to pick her up.. Amazing delivery on both of her channels and incorporating her husband and other influencers! A+
I love your videos and have been watching them since this fall when my husband and a friend talked about a trip together. We're finally going and I can't wait. I have a notebook next to me every time I watch your channel, so thank you. We do plan on renting a car to see the Valley of Fire, 50 min drive away and then my husband and I will go on our own to Zion and the Grand Canyon Nat'l parks. One tip, I went with my sister when I was 20 and it wasn't until a bartender carded me that I learned while I was old enough to drink, I wasn't old enough to gamble. You have to be 21.
Amazing video! I plan on going to Vegas for the first time at the end of this month. I loved this list, I definitely wrote down a lot of things from this video. 🔥😀👌🏽
More Team Ruby Gold....we expect nothing less and Team Ruby always delivers. If you are old enough to remember pumping quarters into video games at an arcade then definitely hit the Pinball Museum, free to get in, just get your quarters and play the classic games. A great way to see the Arts District is to book a food tour in the Arts District.
Hi Ruby love your videos, I don’t know if you have done a video on this (was looking for it) but it would be really great if you could do a video on Las Vegas shows. They are my favorite part of Vegas and we try to fit as many shows in as possible when we go. I would love a video talking about each show and any hidden gem shows that people may not know about.
Fashion Show Mall, as a KISS fan I always go to the Rio & visit their mini golf place, the 151 Octane from Fat Tuesdays, and I enjoy an early morning walk down the strip when it’s empty and not as hot. My crazy party days are over so I keep it calmer nowadays
12:50 You mentioned SkyFall Lounge at Delano, which I too absolutely LOVE and will go back to! However, I had the worst service at the Circa Legacy Club, so I would only suggest going there if you sit directly at the bar and be served directly by one of the bartenders because the cocktail servers are not as attentive there. But overall, I enjoy the service and drink options at the Alle on 66 rooftop Lounge at Resorts World so much more than Legacy Club. Have you been to Alle on 66 at Resorts World? If so, what did you think of it?
So glad found your videos - really enjoying them - haven't been to Vegas in 6 years (want our exchange rate from Canada to improve a bit!) but it sure is a very fun place.
I’ve been to Vegas 2-3 times a year for the last 9 years - I think Ruby and I are around the same age - and I 1000% agree with everything she mentions in this video! I love Vegas and I love Travel Ruby! ❤🎰❤️
There are at least 100 countries with amazing things to explore. I can't understand the logic of traveling to the same city 20 times, before exploring new palces. But everyone has their preference I guess...
@max_rove If you're talking strictly Las Vegas then I agree. However, I don't care who you are but you can do 1,000,000 times Tokyo and not get tired of it lol
Although it is off of the strip, a great restaurant that I recommend is Ventano Italian Grill & Seafood in Henderson. The cuisine is excellent, not to mention authentic, with a beautiful view of the strip (especially at sunset), as it sits atop an elevated position.
This has become my absolute favorite channel🎉 these vegas must do lists are EXACTLY what I was looking for❤ we seem to have the same taste and mindset😝 as I'm OBSESSED with Vegas
Awesome tips! And yes, I'd love a video of your favorites. From what I've seen, you have really good taste so I would love to know what tops your list!
I am not a club person, and I live in SoCal,so I have not done the clubs and pool scene, but pretty much everything else I have. I usually go at Thanksgiving and it is amazing. Also, I have never taken an Uber to/from the airport, because I am a bit lazy, so I just grab a cab. Airport to Horseshoe is $30 with tip. If you have driven to Las Vegas go to the Neon Museum. Also, if you have a car, there are a couple of gun ranges if you want to squeeze off a few rounds, or a bunch of rounds. Or you can sit outside at any number of places on the Strip or on Fremont St. and just people watch. And of course the fountains at the Bellagio are always free and do not miss out on Eataly in the Park MGM, if you are a foodie, you might literally squeal with delight.
All of yiur vlogs are so awesome and so well organized and put together. I will be visiting 1st time in Dec 2024. Thank you so much. Very helpful.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍👍👍
Totally agree on the Peppermill being a must-do! The bar is from another era and I never miss it in all the years I've gone. And don't forget about their obscenely huge breakfasts!!!!
As a tourist I have enjoyed all the museums, especially the Atomic Museum, the Mob Museum, the Hollywood Cars Museum, the Titanic exhibition at the Luxor, and the Shelby Heritage Center.
Totally agree on drinking in the Arts District - love a day's boozing on Main Street. Also, I like visiting off-Strip bars like Frankie's, Double Down, Red Dwarf etc
My husband and I are finally going to Vegas for our 1st time in May for our 28th anniversary. We’ll take your advice and go to few places you mentioned, especially the dinner shows and bars. We can’t wait, thank you!🥰🥂
I was in Vegas in July for my birthday. One must self present for me was a helicopter ride (at night) over the strip. It's 15-20 mins but you can see so much from the air you can't see from the ground.
When I went to Las Vegas with my parents back in 2014 we did the sight seeing mainly looking at the hotels. I had never been to Las Vegas, my parents went in the early 90’s. They didn’t do much as they were on a budget. I was only 19 years old at the time, we were limited to doing a lot of things as I was under age. Even now I don’t drink and if I went back again I’ll still do all the family activities and hotel sightseeing as they were fun. I was very interested in the themes of the hotels, man the heat was insane for my porcelain skin. I really wanted to see one cirque show, we couldn’t manage to get a ticket, timing was also hard as we were only there for two nights. We tried to go to see Mystère or O as they were the two shows that we wanted to see. Mystère were on their holiday break and O was fully booked. We were a bit gutted, we did save some money. We didn’t want to get exhausted from Vegas as we were going to visit four states, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and California. I loved the theming of Excalibur and Luxor.
I commented on another video. Love these videos, very entertaining. (Thought I had little interest in Las Vegas BUT, I have to admit, after watching four of your videos I'm becoming more interested.) I'd certainly recommend Cathedral National Park for a nature journey. I live in St. George, UT, and a friend and I have made it our life's purpose for several years to travel to as many parks in Utah, Nevada, and Arizona as possible. We've been to several such as the Grand Canyonn and Zion several times. Incredible scenery! It would be fun to "glam camp" in a Vegas hotel and use it as a base to see some more of the natural wonders of the Southwest! Thanks! I subscribed and liked. OH! How about fun places in Vegas for 73-year-old women who are young at heart but aged of body (who wouldn't be caught dead in a bathing suit or at a day club.)😂
@travelruby you should create some generic itineraries. Like a guide based on a vibe. Nothing crazy long but something to give people direction to curate a certain vegas experience.
Another great video. I've done almost everything on your list except the Peppermill. I definitely agree with you about walking the strip and casino hopping. That is one of my favorite things to do aside from play poker.
Depends on the stakes you are playing at and the kind of game you're looking for. Most poker rooms have low stakes (i.e. $1/$3). Horseshoe is good for new players as it's usually tourists. Bellagio has more experienced players and the room is always busy and packed. The bigger rooms like Aria are about the same. I like Horseshoe because it's more laid back.
Would love to see all of your personal favorites! Loved this list! We go to Vegas all the time (live close) yet still got some great ideas for our next trip
Making my first ever trip to Vegas to play a couple WSOP events the first week of July. Can’t wait to do everything possible to avoid being outside in 100°+ heat. I’m fully on Team 60-75° outside weather. Anything over 90° is no bueno for me.
Well Ms.Ruby… My Birthday is Wednesday (Ruby birthstone) I will be arriving on soon, staying at the Cosmopolitan 💁🏽♀️Excited for a Girls Trip to celebrate my 45th with my bestie.
My Sister and I are heading to Vegas for the first time in forever in December for my Birthday. I really like the Spa Day idea, it sounds like a really relaxing time Any chance for a Best Vegas Day Pass Spas video?
The shows are my favorite thing to do in Vegas. It's the entertainment capital of the world. Even though some shows are expensive now-a-days (what isn't) the talent and skill is amazing - especially the Cirque de Soleil shows. I do some gambling so I can keep getting room comps, but slot machines are so prevalent throughout the U.S. (in Mass, RI, and Conn for instance, there are a ton of them) that I'd rather check out things that are in Vegas that you can't get anywhere else. There's gotta be a thousand places to eat, and celebrity restaurants are all the rage now. As Ruby said, you must go to the Peppermill. Such a unique place. Buy yourself a drink and enjoy it. I'm too old for the club scene, but one thing I do love in Vegas is people-watching. You want to be entertained? Find a spot outside a nightclub and just check out all the visitors going in and out - dressed to the nines when they go in, and stumbling and wobbling out as they try to stand up from having maybe a few too many beverages! It's wild what you'll see.
Just went to Vegas for the first time recently, I loved Fremont street. The games are fun and easy to get into, the food and drinks are cheap. Some of the hotels have insane deals. You can easily get drunk, eat a bunch of food, and win some games for under 50$ on Fremont.
Great must do list Ruby thanks for the great content, my wife and I had such a fantastic trip our first time in Vegas together after watching your videos, of course that was when you had about 50k subscribers lol we have since been back several times and continue to watch your thoughts and recommendations. Here's to 300k
I’m one of those people that used to go to Virginia Beach sleeping in until noon most days. I felt like I slept my vacation away lol. In Vegas I’m going to have to get used to doing 16+ hour days.
Comment your Vegas must dos!
#1 Must do meet TravelRuby, so I could know what to do 🎉. #2 visit las vegas sphere. #3 Las Vegas raiders stadium. 🏟️ #4 Hoover dam. 🦫 #5 helicopter ride over the city 🌃 at night!

Hi Mrs Ruby, The New Illusion Museum Between The Aria & Cosmo Had A Blast On 10/31/23🎃
Eat at SW at the Wynn.
Hi Ruby love your channel. In this video you had a video clip of a pool area that had that huge sports video screen. What pool is that? Thanks

This channel is the “must watch” Vegas source
I agree
definitely
Fully agree. Best channel for all things Vegas. Ruby rocks!!
“If they ever try to shut down the Peppermill I’m going to chain myself to the building” 😂 I’m laughing so hard - the visual in my mind is amazing!
I love The Peppermill!
I'll throw the Mob Museum and the Underground Speakeasy into the mix! The museum is fantastic and the underground is a super fun spot, especially when they have live music!
Been to Vegas over 30 times and always wanted to go to that and the neon sign museum
The Mob Museum is first class and super interesting!
Glad to hear the Mob Museum is a cool place to go to. I've already got my ticket when I go to Vegas next month.
@@SAsh-zg6ln30 times? Have you also traveled to Europe, Africa, Asia, etc?
@@max_rove lol nah. I live in LA so Vegas is close enough to go a few times a year. I don’t really care for international travel
KITTIES! More cats, please, especially the next time you're filming at home! Hotel hopping in Vegas is one of my favorite free activities for sure.
I would add the Neon Museum that has all the old original neon signs that once lit Las Vegas.
We love the pools! We got a Cabana at Mandalay Bay once and it was so worth the money. We also love shopping, dining and sight seeing/people watching!!
People watching is huge!

Me too!

Really glad you added Red Rock Canyon to your list! Thank you for touching on the great parks and nature in the area.
I’d say eating at Chinatown and strip buffets like the Wynn one are also a must

Great to mention car service from the airport to your hotel. We love Bell. The service is prompt and the drivers are wonderful. 😍
Do they have a website I can check out
Love your videos, always make me want to visit Vegas again! Two of my favorite things to do is the Linq Ferris wheel and the Neon museum.

Great must dos Ruby. Your kitty cats are beautiful. Our must dos and our never miss - Grimaldis at the Palazzo and Tao dance club (weekends).

I'm thinking about getting some friends involved with the referral bonus. It looks like a good deal for both sides
As a cab driver I think it's always great when they choose us.😊 When you come to savannah Georgia look me up. Savannah Hilton Head Airport Taxi.❤

That’s a great idea! Betting is always more fun with friends around, and those bonuses for referring them seem pretty generous.
Thank you Ruby! I’ve been enjoying living here and exploring all the things to do!
A cabana at the Cosmopolitan is soooo much fun! We had a group of like 10 and it was an all day thing! We ate and drank and had so much fun!!!
Thanks! Our flight is booked for late October. Spa and steakhouse is a must. First time out and looking forward to a great time
Great video. You have a way with words. We are there often, but you gave us more fun things to consider. 🎰🎰🎰👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗

Ruby's perfect Vegas trip would be a fun video!
When you're bringing your kid from the mountains in Colorado, swimming is huge!
I'm thinking of using it to bet on the cricket matches. There's a big game coming up, and that extra bonus could really come in handy
Thank you Ruby for all of your recommendations, wish I had time to do them all. ❤
Ruby is always great. The lighting was on point. I could calibrate my TV with that.
Circa and stadium swim in the summers are my favorite. I get out to vegas like 5 times every summer to let loose and chill

That sounds like a good plan. I spread my bonus across a few casino games, tried a bit of roulette and blackjack

Which poker room do you recommend? I've played at the Bellagio, but where do you play? The Horseshoe or some place else?
Depends on the stakes you are playing at and the kind of game you're looking for. Most poker rooms have low stakes (i.e. $1/$3). Horseshoe is good for new players as it's usually tourists. Bellagio has more experienced players and the room is always busy and packed. The bigger rooms like Aria are about the same. I like Horseshoe because it's more laid back.

Wow! Great video. I think I will do a brewery crawl through the Arts District on my next Vegas trip.
Def will check out some of these places whenever I am in Vegas!
I really like the Spa Day idea, it sounds like a really relaxing time
Any chance for a Best Vegas Day Pass Spas video?
I loved the Arts District on my last Vegas trip! Makers & Finders was great for breakfast. I had the best avocado toast!
The Rupauls Drag race live show was amazing! Definitely should try it!
I went to Vegas in October. I got my own take on it. I'll have to do a video.
Awesome video and very informative Ruby.Thank you I love all the videos you and Mr Ruby do.💕
Hubs & I really enjoyed the Mob Museum. It was better than I expected and we plan on returning.
Absolutely a video of your favorites! Love love your videos. I recommend them to family and friends when they say they need ideas💕
Great must do list Ruby thanks for the great content, my wife and I had such a fantastic trip our first time in Vegas together after watching your videos, of course that was when you had about 50k subscribers lol we have since been back several times and continue to watch your thoughts and recommendations. Here's to 300k
The pepper mill I need to go! And the couple spas
I’m one of those people that used to go to Virginia Beach sleeping in until noon most days. I felt like I slept my vacation away lol. In Vegas I’m going to have to get used to doing 16+ hour days.
I love your suggestions…We will have to try a few next time we are in town…
