The last open match on the Fossdyke of 2022

This video is of the LDAA open match on the Fossdyke canal, I`ve drawn peg 5 on the roadside section and what a close section it proved to be. It was great to catch up with all the lads on the day. Although peg 5 is a end peg, I was told they hadn`t been putting it in on previous matches as it hadn`t been producing, but I was more than happy with it, as I`ll take a end peg on a canal any time.

You could always catch short on the fossdyke, last match I fished on it was over 100 anglers bloodworm and joker job, except i was two pegs up from you and caught skimmers on the far bank line on caster and waggler using a centerpin. LDAA junior matches in the 80s though were complete grinders I won one with three roach for 4 oz. Good to see the place is better now.
