For too long I've been told I don't meditate or 'focus' properly. A walk in the woods, a salt bath, running.... I am absolutely able to switch off my mind and focus on the present with any of those activities. I am so grateful that you have reinforced there isn't just one way. Thank you, I feel amazing ❤
So true! I am not good at sitting still and meditating BUT when I take a walk out in the woods. Anywhere out in nature, I am present. I am meditating 😊
Been struggling with finding a job that I like and my chronic autoimmune condition. Fasting, meditating and walking is what i've been doing the past few days. Becoming more centered.
Contentment, the state of happiness and satisfaction. Contentment leads to bliss, nature is so pleasurable, I am not content unless I spend time daily in nature. Sing in nature and watch the magic that will show itself to you. I had a beautiful angel appear to me in the sky, was the best day of my life. 👼❤ Thank you for sharing Todd, your videos are always so inspiring and a reminder to go within, everything is inside of us where true contentment lies.
There is no system to follow or method, just simply being with oneself and nature. For the knowing of oneself is the beginning and ending of all misery. Sending love to all, keep working inwards and with Mother Earth. Xx
I found your channel a few weeks ago and it’s really helpful. My wife told me about a month ago she wants a divorce after being together since we were 19, I’m 46 now. Thanks!
I was addicted to Asian massages (with extra). I spent a small fortune on them. I am so glad I can listen to this now, and relax, and know I don't have to look for anything external to feel good. Being addicted to massages was just as bad as any other addiction, and always left me craving more.
I’m a single SAHM with TBI. Whenever I do sewing I face hurdles of feelings of guilt for taking time for myself. I get guilt from wanting to take time to exercise also. 😭 Thank you Todd….
Dear! Pls train feeling proud instead of guilty. Sooooo wise to take time for yourself and sewing....no one can do it for you. Celebrate these moments!
I feel like if a person genuinely found contentment and satisfaction, that person would be labeled as worthless to the society. We live in a society where we are expected to want more than what we have.
9:45 i consumed severallll pieces of new super stylish clothes! love them all but where will i like ever wear them??!! 🤣🤣😂.. i learnt my consumer-trap lesson🧐🤓and i have quite the beautiful wardrobe!
thanks Todd true words simple and easy to understand. I think when I am most content is in nature or creating or dancing I would like to do some pottery and meditation will be a great addition Where was this shot?
Loving your messages! The land is beautiful where you're hiking, of you don't mind my asking, where is that? I've traveled alot myself, mostly in search of better surf. Barbados, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, PR. But where you're hiking is truly breathtaking as well. Thank you for all you share with everyone ❤ You inspire
Okay lol I checked in the comments, Nepal! Beautiful. The donkeys sure seem happy too. I'm sure the video gives it no justice compared to actually being there! 😊❤
I really really want to see one spiritually awakened person...who has family , 9-5 job, financially constrained with ageing parents...then still be spiritual...doing all the mundane...if I'm away in Himalayas alone ...being spiritual is automatic not in the above life
Have you ever contemplated becoming a ordained Buddhist monk Todd? I am studying some buddhism for dummies right now. I've found a temple by me,just need to muster up myself to visit. Any suggestion? I love your channel, your words, your calm. 🙏
Jacqueline, I hope you've finally stopped by that temple! I drove past the local Buddhist monastery in Colorado for a decade, wondering what goes on there. Curiosity won me over, so I found their website, and accepted their standing invitation to join them for evening chanting and meditation. I was the only lay person there, with four monks and four nuns, all of them from Thailand. They spoke little English, but they made me feel welcome anyway. When I joined them for New Years eve last week, the temple was full of lay people, all of them Thai except me. Like the monastics, they made me feel welcome, and I couldn't be happier that I took the opportunity to meet my neighbors!
@@tedpreston4155 I have not yet visited. Such loving souls I know I will be welcomed and there is nothing to fear....for what could go wrong..Nothing. .Your story warmed my heart and has encouraged me.
I am spiritual and Jaye all the techno that I have to be involved in it makes me depressed and anxiety ,I wish I could meet someone who flows with me in the universe walking in the woods , classic music ,but unfortunately unfortunately for me I am around low vibe people constantly that take me down ,so sad
I just experience spiritual awakening some weeks ago and now i even struggle more with my life because im having many bad habits at the same time and want to change.. you have any advice for me?
I've been struggling too. Buddha taught his students that we are causing our own suffering, and provided instructions to help us out of the holes we've been digging. Right here on youtube, you'll find lots of advice on the subject. Here' a general summary of the path the Buddha laid out for us. ua-cam.com/video/cZn0NieBhEI/v-deo.html You'll find many more videos that talk about each of the eight steps along that path. It takes effort to make this advice an enduring part of your life, but you will find a sense of relief early on after you get started.
“To go from consumer to creator” Todd, truly a quotable moment.

The joy of breathing, water when really thirsty and food when really hungry are such wonderful gifts of life.

This is true! Our conditioning in society and influence from the people around us is stopping us from going this way.
Thank you for your words!

Buddha himself could have written that comment! Happiness can be found within us. Craving for pleasure outside ourselves too often brings suffering.
Valuable insights
Thank you
This was amazing! Thanks so much! Namaste.

They certainly have always seemed like the happiest people on earth to me. Living in monasteries was a great experience for me
