This needs and MUST have an international stream! To not have one is very short sighted and denies fans the chance to see the series as it is. You have a F1 World Champion as the DEFENDING GT500 Champion - that alone brings international viewers!
Give the non-Japanese fans a proper live streaming platform! Sure the full race upload 3 week after the race is a good step ahead, but losing Nismo TV and not having a proper live streaming platform for Super GT for the time being means several steps back for this sport :(
Rosario Verano I've heard the whole Ghosn stuff hit Nismo particularly hard financially, so they sold the UA-cam channel to LETS GO RACE. Also, the GT Association don't want to stream internationally because they think there's no audience (there is).

Don't get me wrong, Formula E is a fantastic sport and is great for advancing the technological development of electric cars, but surely Nissan had more than enough money for keeping Nismo TV available for Super GT fans...

I was originally not really convinced with the idea of Formula E when it was first announced, but as time goes by I became more and more convinced with FE, and by the Gen2 era (which is this year) I became completely sold with the idea of Formula E. And sure there is a Chinese team competing in FE by the name of Techeetah and another Chinese team (Nextev) is the original winners of FE, but this season there are plenty of big name manufacturers competing, such as Nissan, Audi, Citroen, Jag, Mahindra, BMW, and Mercedes (under the HWA banner, the full Merc team is coming next season), with Renault previously competing and for next season Porsche is joining as well. There is plenty of interest from manufacturers and it's because the technology that FE promotes is going to be very relevant for road car technology in the future. And to be honest with you, I find Attack Mode very intriguing as it really ramp up the strategic element of the races. As for Fanboost, a lot of people dislike it which is understandable, but honestly Fanboost is pretty much worthless anyway and if you're a Vandoorne fan, getting a Fanboost pretty much is a bad luck sign. Fanboost is pretty much the one thing I don't like about FE, and it's simply because of how useless it is. I would love to see FE get rid of Fanboost and give the extra power that Fanboost have to the Attack Mode power boost to increase the strategic element of the race more. Yes it is considerably slower than the likes of F1/IndyCar/Super GT, but Gen2 is already going a lot faster than the previous gen FE cars (no need to switch cars mid-race too) and it is very much certain that with better battery tech etc, Gen3 FE cars are going to be even faster and have a battery that lasts longer than the Gen2 cars.
Good to see Red and Blue at the top again. Jann appears to once again be paired in a hot/cold car. He gets the most out of it... but the 2nd stint doesn't fair nearly as well.
Hate to say this but to say “you don’t have the international audience” to warrant an English speaking coverage - have you looked at the stats and compared it to most other series. I think you need to have another look again to realise that SGT does have a strong following outside Japan
The entire notion is self-defeating. They could be positioning themselves to capitalize on the joint-DTM regulations and international events that will entail ... instead they'd rather shoot themselves in the foot. Japanese media does this all the time. Restricting tv shows and movies to Japan only... then turn around and wonder why Korean shows are all over Amazon, Hulu, Netflix. They don't value their own product... it's mind boggling. This is the best race series for my money, but you get execs keeping it a secret because they're scared to grow their market beyond the safest of safe zones.

10年前の岡山のGT500のポールタイムは、1'24.069。つまり、今の300クラスは10年前の500クラスとほぼ同じ速さ。
