INGREDIENTS I USED:
Baked at 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 mins. (Time may vary depending on your cake pan and/or oven.)
3 Cups Cake Flour
3 Cups Sugar
3 Sticks Butter (Room Temperature)
5 Eggs (Room Temperature)
1 C Buttermilk (Room Temperature)
1 3/4 oz. Box of Butterscotch Pudding
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
4 Dropper fulls of Butterscotch Oil
1 Tsp. Creme Bouquet
*** GLAZE
6 Tablespoons Butter
Milk
Powdered Sugar
Butterscotch Oil
Vanilla Extract

Butterscotch is the best!! All the ladies in the “Amen corner” had butterscotch and peppermint in their purse, and I looked forward to it as a child. Those purses were blessed😂😂When one of the deacons would go into a diabetic sleep, Miss Essie at the church would run and put butterscotch or peppermint in his mouth saying his sugar had dropped. Butterscotch out here serving all kinds of purposes🤦🏽♀️

Donna, I adore butterscotch! It is one of my very favorite flavors. Every Christmas I bring a butterscotch pie over to my mom's house for dessert, and I always have to make two just so my mom can keep a whole pie for herself 😂. I can't wait to try this recipe!

Thanks for this recipe! Dude #1 had me and my hubby laughing! 😂 He is too funny! Have you ever thought about putting butterscotch chips in the batter? Sprinkling them with a little flour and tossing them in a zip lock bag keeps them from sinking to the bottom while baking. Great job 👏 on another beautiful cake! 🎂

Another delicious looking cake. You knock them out of the park every time. I have a question.....where do you find that cream bouquet and the butterscotch oil. I have never heard of either of them. I am going to make and eggnog pound cake Sunday to take to a friend's house Monday. Have you ever made an eggnog pound cake???? I just love you and your husband going back and forth.
