Where in the philippines are you going? As far as credit cards I just use my capital one. A lot of places only take cash though so I conserve my cash and use a card whenever I have the opportunity
@chriswelkley5977 they do, just notify your credit card company that you will be out of the country first also might be a good idea to contact your cell phone provider and get an international plan. Another thing to note is that a lot of places don't accept credit cards at all and even fewer accept American Express. Have a safe trip.

@ Manila or cebu flying into than just travel around a bit . Middle of May for 3 weeks . So our credit cards from here work there just fine?
