They are all 6'1'1/2" to 6'4" Austin being shortest and Rob the tallest. This was done during Quarantine and they each had to put up their own backdrop at home and they do have a sense of humor.
I actually thought Chance was the shortest because of how they stood in How Great Thou Art. Now I know:)
I'd never thought about their heights but I realize now why some of the men with whom they collaborated (Billy Gilman, Jeffrey East, Chris Chatman) seemed height-challenged. They're not - it's just that the men in Home Free are all tall!

Guys, guy's.... Home Free can do no wrong. Finally got to see a live show in march in Florida. Now I know why everyone says one show is not enough.
My first live show is in early May. Then I'll start saving up to hit several spots in the next tour. Maybe then I'll have time to be closer to home.

Some of the Home Fries have speculated on what HF guy was in prison for. Tim: shot a man in Reno. Chance: Mafia hit man. Austin: fleecing little old ladies. Rob: was framed. Adam: being held until they can transfer him to a secure psych unit. (There's other speculations, but these are my favorite.) I really enjoy your reactions -- please thank your uncle!

This was a cover of a Johnny Cash hit. They all recorded their voices and videos at their homes.and Darren Rust their recording/mix editor put it all together. The guys decided to have fun with the height charts. Everything they do turns out great. Besides the Butts Medely you will also like their cover of Blake Sheldon’s Hillbilly Bone. The guys did a great job of this Johnny Cash cover. Made it into a jazzy blues style. And they all look like some sort of criminals especially Tim & Adam. Remember this was done during quarantine so none of them were physically together. They were very creative during that time. Love the background train noises. Adam's beatboxing is crazy good & so is Tim's low notes.

Great reaction as always guys. Just watched Aint Goin Down, the just released today video from Home Free and it was freaking amazing. Adam is a beast on the nomonica and Austin and Tim hold a forever note that would kill most people. It premiered on Facebook and there are only a cpl reactions to it as of now. You guys would love it. I totally freaked on it. So much fun and so unbelievably amazing. Would love to see your reaction to it.

Home Free took yet another classic song and sprinkled their magic on it and transformed it into their own. They crushed it completely. They are in jail for killing this song and stealing so many hearts. Austin's wailing train whistle, Tim's sub basement notes, Chance and Rob killing the harmonies, Adam's beat boxing is high octane for sure. They all "done good." The guys are pranking us with the height thing. If you watch "Blue Ain't Your Color" (they all are in suits, and clean cut and handsomely turned out) then watch this (total convict vibe); Adam looks like a total psychopath in this, the contrast is so funny to see.
These guys can do it all just amazing still waiting for yall to do CANT STOP THIS FEELING. MY CHURCH. HILLBILLY BONE all toe tappers

People forget that Adam does more than just drums. That gun cocking was crazy!
When you see Home Free in person you are surprised with their heights. Austin, the shortest or rather least tall, usually wears boots and seems as tall as Rob, 6.4 on stage. Chris Rupp is also about the same height as his brother 6.3. I got a picture with them and showed it to my grandson who thought Rob was Hagrid from Harry Potter since he towered over me.
I'm hearing between 6-1 and 6-3 or 6-4. Each guy is filming separately at his home, maybe in a closet, and the height charts are them being jokesters.
All the guys are 6'2"-6'4". Rob being tallest, but barely. They sent Chance that height chart as a joke. He said he was on his knees filming his parts. 😉🤣

Love Home Free. Love this song. It’s a Johnny Cash song he sang way back to prisoners at Folsom Prison. It’s so good. They’re just messing with you on the heights although they’re all tall over 6’1” to 6’4”. Yeah they did this during Covid so they all recorded at their homes and the producer put it all together. We think Tim did the crime, Adam belongs in the insane asylum and the others are accomplices…hahaha. Adam is crazy good. They just did another song which is not on UA-cam but on FB. when this video came out I messaged Home Free on Patreon and got the official answer on their heights= Rob is 6'3" and Adam, Chance, Austin and Tim are 6'2". Tall and talented!
I think you'd enjoy the other "quarantine" videos Home Free put out during the Covid lockdown. "Quarantine", "Sunday Best", "Meet in the Middle" among them - the creativity and editing of these (as well, of course, as the music) are just extraordinary. Tim Foust and Austin Brown also did duets of "My Maria" and "What's It To You" and Austin and Rob Lundquist did a duet of "Nessun Dorma" - just amazing!

Their producer sent them the prison suits and the measurements posters. They all filmed at home and sent the tapes to their producer in Minnesota.

On January 13th, 1968, Johnny Cash made history by recording a live album inside of California’s Folsom State Prison. The album, At Folsom Prison revitalized Cash’s career. But why did Cash decide to play two live shows at Folsom Prison?
The song that started the prison obsession for Cash was his own “Folsom Prison Blues.” Written in 1953 while serving in Germany with the US Air Force, it was inspired by the 1951 film, Inside the Walls of Folsom Prison. Two years later, Cash recorded the song for the Sun Records label in Memphis. It became one of Cash’s signature songs, and had one of the most iconic lines in country music history; “But I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.” (Johnny Cash wrote & performed song. Stated in an interview that he tried to think of the craziest thing to put in the song came up with the line)
At Folsom Prison was released in May, 1968. The single, “Folsom Prison Blues,” hit the Billboard Hot 100 on May 25th, and the Billboard Country Charts a week later. It was re-released & an instant success peaking at #1 on the country charts, breaking into the mainstream Top 40. The album followed suit, hitting number #1 the Top Country charts & #13 on the Pop Album Charts. It was certified gold in October.
At Folsom Prison won two GRAMMY awards for Cash. His second and third respectively, he won for Best Album Notes (documented by LA Times writer Robert Hilburn, and photographer Jim Marshall), and Best Country Vocal Performance, Male for “Folsom Prison Blues.”
At Folsom Prison has been acknowledged by Rolling Stone, Blender, Time, and Country Music Television as one of the greatest albums of all time. After achieving triple platinum status from the RIAA in 2003, the Library of Congress chose it for addition to the National Recording Registry. It would seem to all who heard it, that Johnny Cash’s decision to record live at Folsom Prison had paid off.

Cash stated growing up hearing the trains in the distance meant ability to go wherever & follow dreams. Same reasoning those in prison could hear the train & think could take them away. Hence railroad songs.

Only Tim & Chance are sounding country doing the melody.
The rest are doing more of a jazz style arrangement. The tenor duo is the one putting a modern response twist as well as using jazz chords.

A great video that shows their range between serious musical theater and their silliest is a concert piece called BHH & WWTWWS. That stands for Bring Him Home & What We're Thinking While We're Singing. It's almost 15 minutes long, filmed in late 2015. The first part is the guys backing Austin sing a piece from Les Miz and can also be found without the second part and by Austin solo with Sebastien on piano at his house. The second part, separately, has 3 or 4 different version, depending on where the live show was filmed and the crowd. Like Guilty Pleasures with its 3 versions I recommend checking out all of them just for the fun of it.

Adam Chance did a collab with a husband & wife team called The Hound + The Fox on Johnny Cash's song "Hurt". Because of the sad nature of the song, they staged it in an Oregon forest that had just burned from wildfires. They really did it justice. Thanks!
Even when they sing a serious song, they are having fun. I know on stage they all look within an inch or two of each other. The range of 6' 8" to 5' 0" is their humor coming out in their subtle sly way. I like this better than the Johnny Cash Original.
just is case you don't know...this is a cover from Johnny Cash from 1963 from Folsom Prison in which Mr. Cash performed the song in the prison itself hence the song....Johnny Cash was an Country Icon but his life was full of drug addiction and sadness and strife...and most of his songs reflect that...

I have a...buddy...who is serving several life sentences in the California prison system. He was almost transferred to Folsom at the beginning of his sentence. I think he would enjoy this cover. Gotta see if I can make some arrangements so that he can see it.
