Holy crap. Sounded a lot like Tony did at time answering questions. Best move Kyle made ever. Was to RCR.
I’ll second this comment ten fold🫡
@@bassmansrv9970 I'll second your second
@@AndyFromBeaverton Hahahah hell yeah brother🫡😎
This career arc of Kyle is amazing. Never thought in my life I would have any good feelings about him, but now he’s easily a top 5 favorite. Every time he talks, my respect goes up another notch.
The meat riding is mad weird now he’s in a Chevy if he was in a Toyota y’all be saying the same things about this man he’s the same person he was 5 years ago.
Got goosebumps when he started talking about the past respect amongst drivers cause he hit the nail on the head
😂😂😂 Kyle respects nobody. What he's really saying is "everyone should respect me"
It's so funny how quick ppl forget how much of an ass KB was earlier in his career. Typical "hooray for me, f everyone else" attitude. I'm sure Ron Hornaday remembers young KB haha
@@mikestar1 When did he tell you this
@@IntellectualSavior1 He doesn't have to tell me anything because I have eyes and a brain 😂
@mike star stop being a hater. Kyle owned up to his mistakes. He just speaks his mind
@@georgepaiva7496 I can objectively critique someone based on their actions. You can deflect all you want but nobody can tell me I'm wrong! Sorry I don't forget just like Jimmy Spencer 🤷🏼♂️😂
Wow, if Kyle is not careful he will be awarded the most popular drive.
😂😂😂 Stop, but then again your right.
You mean driver
don't think he will ever have that to deal with
Aint that the ironic truth? Who ever thought Kyle would grow up past being the cocky upstart years ago into a champion of old school nascar? Ok well ish at least.
If he just hadnt destroyed that custom Gibson in Nashville he'd get alot more credit this time.
And admiration for doing this correctly now.
Just my two cents
I think I’m now a Kyle bush fan.
This interview is why I’m a Kyle Busch fan. He tells it like it is. Far from vanilla.
He tells it like he sees it is more like it. He acts like he's never hit someone out of retaliation. All of a sudden Kyle walks on water.
@@bobrauscher7244 What? He actually admitted he has. Did you watch the whole interview?
You have a very short memory, don't you?
Yet he has softened his message a little. Watching him with his son, now his daughter & Samantha. I think he has truly changed. More things are important. Followed Samantha for 3, 4 yrs.. They both have grown. She is as good as it gets!
For Rowdy haters think Ty Gibbs spinning out Brandon Jones at Martinsville last season. He kept his mouth shut and NASCAR didn’t do anything
Gibbs will definitely get wrecked 😂
Amazing how different kyle is now that hes comfortable with a new team. Hes a top 3 talent anywhere he goes, now his character is getting closer to matching that. Love to see it
Not a KB fan but by far one of the best on the track. We need more of these press conferences. He’s a Vet and it’s time for him to speak up
Imagine my man Rowdy being the voice of reason. We can not forget Hornaday, but we can forgive, seeing how Kyle has become an overall positive with no audible boos from fans when he wins. Keep it up, KB. 😀
Getting away from jgr and being the main man at the stable has really changed him. I was pulling for him to win the 500, seeing him in that #8 Chevrolet has really changed how I feel inside about him.
@DustinRZR1000 I was a fan, even when I hated the crap he did. You are right. It has been nice to watch a truly generational talent become a force for the general good. When he won the truck, and the XFinity races, the lack of boos from the crowd was unexpected, and a payoff for sticking with Rowdy, for better or worse. 😄
Love him or hate him he speaks the truth
This is the same cry who cries about being “screwed over every time he loses😂
I think its funny out of all the drivers kyle says keep your mouth shut 😂😂 dude never keeps his mouth shut or accepts responsibility. Kyle seems more 2 faced now than he ever has
I’m replying with respect and honest talk. Kyle said two things there that are a direct contradiction to how he acts. I love the get punched in the face comment he’s the one who got some act right from a 60+ year old Childress. The (paraphrasing) “ and racing the way you’re supposed to race” and “be ethical” I remember him absolutely taking out hornaday with championship implications
or what HE believes is his truth, and apparently yours too.
Great driver but….
Honestly gained a ton of respect for the guy right here. He hit it on the head listing all those greats and the culture that existed in Nascar not very long ago. Love him or hate him (and I’ve defiantly disliked him a ton) he speaks the truth
It's amazing the 180 both Kurt and Kyle have made. He is 💯 right
Why would you go and flat out admit to that?
Because Hamlin is stupid.
Respect the hell outta Kyle for his honesty no matter the question or consequences.
Really feels like he’s assumed the role of the elder statesman.
Well he’s easily the best left.
Only a few left
Hell he is the elder statesman Harv is gone this year Denny and truex are gone soon as well. Who else is left Brad?? Joey?? They are basically next up which is crazy to think.
I don't agree. Kyle is just a driver in his late 30s driving for RCR. I role my eyes when guys like Kyle Busch whine about how younger drivers don't have any respect. Kyle got into it with pretty much everyone on the track during his career and got his ass kicked for it on multiple occasions.
I mean, fine, the guy can drive a racecar, but him talking about lack of respect from other drivers on the track after watching him pick fights with everyone over the years doesn't earn anyone's respect in my opinion. Kyle hasn't changed in my book. He's still a cry baby when he doesn't get his way.
@@allergictostupid2410 I have made another comment about this. He has been one of the cleanest drivers in recent memory. Since his scrape with hornaday he hasn't been in many on track problems. He's brash in the media, and if you don't like him for that more power to you. You can't claim he is currently picking fights with everyone he isn't. He is one of the cleanest drivers in the series right now, and thus has every right to speak on this issue. Separate your personal issues with Kyle from his on track actions.
Love it, he has become ( whether he likes it or not) the new guy of Nascar, at least to the media.
I think it is cool they give him the respect of asking him these questions, in return he " proudly" gave his responses.
I'm becoming more and more of a big fan of Kyle Bush, not that I didn't like him before, but he has definitely matured, grown in this sport, and his interviews are more interesting.
He mentioned some big names there.
Thanks KB.
I think they are hoping he will shoot his mouth off not that they respect him.
Nothing will get fixed until they stop bringing 20-ish phenoms into the cup series. I would make an exception...a driver wins 5 consecutive races in the Xfinity series then with or without a championship they QUALIFY for the cup series. That is the rule until they have 5 full years driving in Xfinity. No, the truck series doesn't count.
Also Tony Stewart felt the etiquette being lost like Kyle Busch did if you ever seen his interview with Coffee With Kyle. He mentioned the same etiquette that drivers like Dale Earnhardt Sr, Dale Jarrett, the Labonte Brothers, Rusty Wallace, Jeff Gordon (yes even he had it too thanks to drivers like Dale Sr making sure of it)etc all had. In fact it’s one of the factors that made him think of retirement like he did.
Wisconsin222 when did Dale Sr ever respect anyone, he'd wreck his mother to win
Good thing Kyle didn't say Dale Earnhardt Sr. His etiquette was anything but respectable. The names he named were true gentleman racers and were respected by everyone in the garage.
Tony Stewart should not be in that group either
@Dan yeah he definitely had his fair share of temper tantrums.
@@Dan-md3hr why not?
I would have never believed I would be pulling for kyle bush but he is definitely one of my favorite drivers now. Really has matured a lot.
That was a great interview. I become more of a Kyle Busch fan everyday.
Oh hell yes.
Finally an RCR drive that is willing to race
Never thought I would respect him. He has come a long way. Hell yeah! 💯
I remember in the early 2000s in Nascar during its peak when drivers when drivers were allowed to have personalities. Earnhardt love him or hate him was a showman and he understood the entertainment aspect of the sport. He knew how to get people excited and talking about Nascar.
Yep. Now Nascar has a bunch of whiners that don't want to be raced on the race track. they want "just let me pass don't give me a hardtime" type of mentality. Racers like Kyle really need to go back a learn what racing is and is not.
Pretty amazing how he took multiple stances, but also didn’t do anything incriminate himself at all. Every take was spot on
Very Mature Conversation Kyle!! Great Job!! Things Started Going Downhill When We All Lost Dale Earnhardt!! And Like You Said: Great Drivers And Champions Started Retiring, And Then That Leadership Was Gone!! It's Much Harder Watching My Favorite Sport These Days Because Of All The BS!!
Kyle Busch speaking facts
Brad could’ve wrecked the whole field today but instead practiced what has been preached. He desperately wanted that win but chose to race the right way instead. Mad respect and hopefully a sign of things to come.
Yep you're right...
I thought he was gonna wreak Lagono for the win, but he raced him clean and hard.
Liked BK comment after the race regarding racing hard at the end and I'm not a BK fan at all.
Eloquently spoken Kyle. NASCAR needs to listen to you since the GUY'S in the garage are not listening to you at all. Get the respect you deserve.
Eloquently 😝🤦🏻♂️
This is why I have always been a fan of Kyle Busch
His remarks about the older, now retired drivers really says a lot....This generation of drivers seem to be more about the money they bring with sponsors and not their driving talent!!
The perfect answer. I have believed in the moto.. "Don't give them a reason to look into your life".. for 65 years. It has kept me out of a lot of trouble.
Show me the man . I'll show you the crime .
It's gone because the drivers are younger and have no experience in needing to practice respect.
aka ty gibbs knocking out his teammate last year of the win and the playoffs. brandon should of punched him out.
@@baltimorelimolady Gibbs will be wrecked a LOT
Way to go Kyle. I couldn't said it better. Nascar is not the same.
I have never been a Kyle Busch fan, but the man has talent… Now that he has toned down his antics, matured, and understands the etiquette that got him in trouble with a lot of fans and NASCAR, his fan base is exploding… Good for him, now it’s his job to be a Mentor like those he described… Hopefully, he can one day understand, he is now one of the “old” guys in the garage, now is his time to Mentor… Hopefully he is up to the challenge… Still not a huge fan, but you have to recognize greatness and ability…
New respect for him..hit the nail on the head with everything!
I was a big #3 fan, Dale took care of them😝
Kyle has become the Sheriff of the garage. Tony Stewart used to be the Sheriff due to his ability to speak the truth and not care whose feelings were hurt. If you're on the track causing wrecks then stay home. Say stupid things and get fined. If you intentionally wreck someone expect to get a fistful.
I agree with many of the comments here that it is great to hear Kyle step up, and speak about this issue of respect on the track. I think Stage Racing created these issues with a lack of respect in order to get ahead in the short term (literally). When drivers had to manage a whole uninterrupted race, there was no incentive to crash someone out so early in a race. It was necessary to "manage" the race until the final 10 laps or 5 laps of the race. It will be interesting to see how the road course races go without Stage Racing this year. I'm looking forward to it. Are you listening, NASCAR?
as time goes on, certain points are not only made coherently, ... but clearly... good on you, rowdy !
Boy Kyle really loves the media ❤😅
Love him or hate him. He’s not only one of the top five drivers in the history of the sport but he speaks the truth
I’ve gained so much respect to Kyle after this interview!! Hope he wins another championship
Really? I lost alot. Dude is completely 2 face 😂😂 he's the last driver to say keep your mouth shut 😂
@@rileyfair5 He’s talking about Denny Hamlin’s actions at Phoenix.
@@MegaMr46 i know exactly what he's talking about. He's just the last person on nascar who should be telling someone to keep their mouth shut 🤣
Hope he can get win number two this weekend

😂 hope he ends up on the hook
not this weekend, its gonna be a penske ford
@@TateTheTalisman or a ford in general 😂
I have always admired Kyle, bristling with confidence and the skill to prove it, he's ten times the talent brother Kurt is.
You know shits upside down when Kyle is the mature one and voice of reason lol
Lol he’s right though. Keep your mouth shut. After time pass, like a month or two later you may speak of it.
you pay back down the road!
I never liked Kyle much but man he is really growing on me. The dude is just real.
He’s an incredible racer but…..
I’m a Proud member of Rowdy Nation
Good for you
Kyle has finally grown up, granted he had his moments, ask Ron Hornaday, but he didn’t say anything that I disagree with. He has most definitely taken over for Tony Stewart as the best most honest interview today.
Kyle talking punching in the face . 🤣🤣🤣How many times dide he back down from a fight ? Rcr is one time , Kevin harvick . I can't wait till Kyle screws up again ! Grown up lol still mad at Hamlin 6 yrs ago 😂 .
@@chadalac1977 Mad at Hamlin? Busch won 2 cups Hamlin is still looking for that.. don't think he's mad at anyone lol and he owned up to what he's done in the past. you have no idea what happens away from the cams. may not fight on tv but after you don't know..
@@-SkyCat- lmfao their not fighting Bush is a wussy!! Kyle is not throwing no punches as he states . PERIOD I was saying he brought up old wrecks in the past from way back !
@@chadalac1977Seem to remember him throwing punches at Logano before Joey’s crew tackled him. Just another loser Kyle hater.
Kyle has completely gone from the most hated to a guy that now seems pretty cool.
On Hamlin. If I wanted to hear athletes do all the talking away from the event, I'd watch the NBA.
When Denny went CUP I thought he was going to be one of the "new" old school racers but he is just a slum lord these days letting people live in his head rent free.
the golden era of nascar everyone longs for was when drivers were talking and letting their personalities show
dont watch the podcast! or maybe dont watch Nascar News youtube channels if you dont want to hear what they have to say! Love Fenders Though!
A microcosm of today’s society
The last thing Kyle talked about sounds to me NOW it is REAL RACING.Crewchief and the driver.
Am I the only one who gets the vibe that Kyle Busch really doesn't like Denny Hamlin? It kinda seems like his comments were low key taking direct aim at Hamlin more than anyone else, not that I blame him.
Not many like #11
Hamlin is an arrogant a$$ most of the time...
It's just very interesting to see how full circle Kyle has come. The young punk has become the wise master and realizes what the old guard was trying to instill on the young guns.
this is why I'm rootin' for #8. this is the best version of Kyle Busch we've ever gotten. I want to see him succeed.
Kyle is Kyle.. that is one thing about him thays genuine. He is now the wiser with the words.. and the lack of in instances. Back in a bowtie.. he has my full support.
as a driver who has been directly penalized by Nascar for things he's said, you can see his point.
pretty ironic coming from a RCR driver. Seems they once had a driver that had a long career of wrecking other drivers for wins.
I agree with the perception of lack of mutual respect, but I also believe that it is typical of today's society.... Wake up America .
Jimmy Spencer needs to have a Nascar School about Respect
Jimmy Spencer wrecked damn nearly every driver he raced. 🤣🤣
I am getting a HUGE vibe from the drivers this year of carefully picking their words as if NASCAR is telling them what to say. Makes me think of Joe Gibbs pulling Denny off to the side late last year having a little chat with him in the middle of an interview on pit road after a race. There's just something funny going on with NASCAR.
I've had the same thoughts too, I think Gibbs is going to just fade away and NASCAR has an image problem.
I think the owners should step in. As much as one of those cars cost, you intensely wreck it you pay for it. In other words you break it you bought it.
Went from Kyle hater(sort of), to utter respect!. Still a Ford guy, but love Kyle, post accident. Everything he said, I've observed, and don't have respect for younger drivers also. Go Kyle!
Kyle applied respect to the right champion. Stewart's is the only driver who will ever win the Winston Cup, Sprint Cup and Nextel Cup. And by the way he's an IndyCar Champion too.
Young Kyle was not worried about race etiquette back in the day.
Kyle Busch reminds me of Ralph Earnhardt on the microphone talking driving number 8 Chevy 2023 Kyle Busch does Ralph Earnhardt old school driving style
One of my oldest cousins was a crew chief for NASCAR for over 30 years, and because of that, I had the honor of hanging out with a lot of the drivers and their families, and what Kyle is saying about the respect drivers used to have for each other is 100% accurate. It seems like many of these new drivers are all about themselves. Of course, there are a select few that still have that kind of respect, at least for now.
Sad state of affairs
Wrecking people is admitting you have run out of talent, if a driver is truly "great" the win by skill, conservation and strategy, it doesn't take much talent to go out and just start "mowing the field".
I agree best move he ever made. I’m a fan now.
Is it just me or did Kyle sound like Tony Stewart?💀
We’ll done KB!
I agree with Kyle, even if you make a mistake and spin someone it should be end of line regardless if it was on purpose or not
The younger kids don’t care . My wife is a teacher she says the same thing
Appreciate Kyle's honesty. Though, he's got to try harder to get through to the younger drivers about etiquette and respect. If they still don't listen, start wrecking their asses.
I think I'm turning into a KFB fan
Nobody mentioned Hornaday to Busch
very true
That was the old KB 😂
Tired of Danny drama, 2023 😳 he races against his own team. Danny should go concentrate on being an owner. GO ROWDY👍🏻
Loving this new era of Rowdy! I think a penalty for pushing someone off track is great. It happens far too often, with no repercussions. Kyle has definitely done it. But I think ALL drivers will think twice before pushing a car off track, especially Logano🤌🏽
Punks like Bowman, Byron, Briscoe, Gibbs, Chastain need to learn respect.
i like the new Kyle
Isn't this the guy who wrecked Ron Hornady intentionally under caution while Ron was running for a championship at Texas?😂😂😂
Of course it is. He is a major hypocrite
Yup that’s him.
Thats the problem we got now. Only long time veterans left are Harvick then Kyle, Denny, and Truex. In the early mid 2000s there were still long time legends like Sr, Rusty, Mark Martin, Rudd, Terry Labonte, Bill Elliott, Marlin, Jarrett, Bobby Labonte, Schrader etc all still racing with the newer generation guys like Stewart, Jr, Kenseth, Jimmie, Newman, Kurt and Kyle busch. You can tell the difference a generation later.
I’m liking the new Kyle.
Straight up Honesty
Fascinating perspective.
Good video. Only complaint is move your logo to the bottom of the screen, or make it smaller. Kinda annoying having it going over the face of the person talking.
The way you did Ron hornady years ago was the absolute most chikens..t thing I ever seen a racer pull .sorry forgot you are great.
Kyle Busch you've earned my respect and you've made me a fan of yours this last couple yrs but I love your move too RCR.
It doesn't seem to matter what you drive your just the best at adapting to any situation and getting teh absolute best finish your car is able to obtain.
Your talent is immense and may just be the best ever in nascar but that's hard for me to say being a late Dale Earnhardt Sr fan but I'm sure you understand that.
Keep up the great driving and work Kyle you are amazing and I can't wait to see your son out there beating his competitors in nascar in the future too.
Good for Kyle we’re proud of you
Kyle’s are the most discriminated against… everyone hates us cuz they ain’t us!!! Keep it up Kyle B!!
Bring back the "2 finger chest poke"

Holy crap, I actually agree with KB on something.
after avoiding nascar for years (because of the massive rule changes, , and coming back, the stage breaks was a system that i liked. now here we go again with the rule changes.
CAN WE TURN THE AUDIO UP?! or is it just me going deaf, i tried headphones and speakers and its QUIET as hell.
that just you
Great words: ETIQUETTE - ONCE DID LIVE HERE .. .. ..
Ban Hamlin ..
Kyle doesn't forget anybody he's gotten into it with lol
He would get my vote for most popular driver . If I only watched NASCAR.. lol
It not just a Nascar deal, newbs in many fields of work just don't get it and don't have respect or patience for what they think they should be seen earning, instead they just want what they want cause they deem it fair to them.
Kyle Busch speaking straight facts
It’s funny how I once despised Kyle. Now he’s one of my favorite drivers. He’s become the old school now and has grown as a driver and a man.
I remember Kyle running over the guy that should have been truck champion in the last race of that season, and Tony literally running someone over. Maybe that's why they don't listen to them.
good response Kyle
Love the Bush Brothers
