This song is genius. She was in the studio in LA and Travis Scott rolled in and liked the beat and asked if he could get on it. Basically the song is inspired by reggeaton but she drew the lyrical idea from: Artist and famous people always surrounded by people/friends/family/supporters and how this support needs to be tight knit like family. Its about loyalty and keeping secrets. In the song she makes reference to mafias and leaders of organized crime- how they are close, loyal ,and things stay in the family- (like how artists have their close entourage) "ni un amigo nuevo, ni una herida"= "no new friends, no lacerations" (direct translation)

The Rosalía Straight up! Not even a new friend, no wounds “TKN” reads like a dual-themed song. On one hand Rosalía is referencing “omertà”, i.e. the life-and-death m*fia code of loyalty which we are all familiar with via mob films. And she is doing so in reference to not favoring associating with new people. Travis Scott, on the other hand, is rapping exclusively about his sensual fascination with a romantic interest. And it is not clear exactly how these two themes converge. But theoretically the vocalists can be portraying the role of lovers, and Rosalía in particularly is likening their ideologically commitment to the omertà. Simply put, she is saying that just as the m*fia are loyal to each other, Travis likewise “better” be loyal to her. It has been hypothesized that the title of this song is actually a reference to the famous street-fighting videogame “Tekken”, which apparently both of the artists have an affinity for. It never ceases to amaze how creative they are in this Catalan audiovisual production company: CANADA. The video is ten. The song is supported by rhythmic bases drawn from the most classic reggaeton, that of its beginnings and of course, from hip hop. A valuation nine.
Maybe im a bit late, but TKN is a sound game, deriva de "usted quién es?" = "who you are". Usted kien es deriva en : "Té quien é" that sounds like Teken or TKN (te ka ene)
Jesus soriano sarabia comments: In the song, Rosalía touches on the confidence and secrecy of criminal groups as the main theme, comparing her closed circle of friends with the Sicilian mafia, mentioning codes of honor. She is a widowed mother (dressed in black) who raises her children with the absence of the father, in the song she indicates that the things of the family should remain within the family and should not externalize or trust anyone else " not a new friend, not a wound, "he indoctrinates them. We start with a baby, innocent, newborn. He has been fortunate to be born after his father's death and to enjoy his mother's protection from the beginning Throughout the first verse that makes up this theme, continuous allusions to the communities that are created within this class of organized crime follow one another; one of the most obvious is the one that hides the phrase "I secret 'only with whom you can trust' / You had better not break the Omertá". This last term refers to the "law of silence", a code of honor that commits all members not to betray any of the members. What happened to the mother. What happened to the father. Also, she tries to protect them from "pain", from any pain, not trusting anyone, aspects that are usual in people who have suffered. To support this, we see the pain of the absent father, (Travis performs that role in the song), the pain of his absence is reflected in the children's paintings. After his death, represented in the scene in which we can see the American rapper lying on the ground and in the image of the lifeless dove, his widow must take over the clan, (the army of girls and boys) without being able to trust nobody. This story could have another version also linked to Rosalía's second album. Considering that the songs that compose it build a toxic love story that would have its continuation in his single "I swear what", and now, in this collaboration with Travis, it could be a new chapter.

Hi, again. Thanks for this reaction! In this song it’s very important the lyrics. It is connected with the strong and hard message, with the rhythm and style of the song, and the video with a lot of symbolisms. You could listen to her album El Mal Querer. It was her final tesis when she graduated at University. Every song it is a chapter of an old anonymous book from XIV century called “Flamenca” . She composed the music, created all the lyrics, and made all the production without any disco company, she used her voice and made intention engineering effects and mixd flamenco roots with modern resources. You can feel heaven when you listen to. It is better if you try to find out the meaning of lyrics of every song 🙏🏻

Lewis Shawcross you need to react more Rosalia songs. Every new song it’s a completly a new world. You should react to Malamente,a pale and me quedo contigo. 3 different style. In those songs I’ll recomend u another 3🤣🤙
Omertá. The law of silence in mafia clans. It is an analogy. Rosalía tells us about family or other clans that always surround the world of an artist. Their companions and the ethical and confidentiality codes that surround them by way of self-protection. Greetings from Seville.
The video is shot on standard 35mm Academy film (1.37:1 or 4:3 Open Gate), spherical prime lenses (maybe Arri Zeiss Master Prime) and a 35mm film camera as Arri 435 or Panavision Panaflex.
Liked the reaction, the video production was done by Canada a company in Spain, they also did her Malamente (breakout song) and Pienso en tu Mirada that are master pieces. She has a lot of symbolism in her visuals and her lyrics, it is hard to decipher because sometimes she uses really obscure cultural references. For the same vibe I suggest A Pale. For her flamenco/urban mix Malamente.
Omertà: It is the mafia's code of honor, the law of laws. Omertà is the law of silence. It says that it is strictly forbidden to tip the police or collaborate with the authorities under any circumstances. In case of breach, it may be punished with death. The truth is that omertà is broken with relative regularity since families have dealings with the police and use it to remove members of other families. The first to break it was Tommaso Buscetta, from the Sicilian mafia, the video talks about the loyalty you must have within the same mafia, when he says "mas te vale no romper la omertá", she talks about the same thing, about not telling what the family / mafia lived or does to people who are not in the close circle
i'm late but there is a theory that says that this song has to do with this whole issue of Pizza gate, that's why the children are there, if you don't know what pizza gate is, you can search, there are many videos about that
@@LewisShawcross Wow, yeah, you have reacted to a bunch of Rosalia videos. Sweet. I recommend "Aunque Es De Noche" then. It's also directed by Canada: ua-cam.com/video/6s-MQzPZ6IE/v-deo.html And also "Catalina", the first song she put out: ua-cam.com/video/0OMwDZUWl5g/v-deo.html
in may, all twitter was talking about pizzagate and anonymous and i dont know that it was a coincidence because also, twitter commented that pizzagate was like abusing about children and in the video, rosalia is like taking care of the kids, and also the kids are running and being free. it is only my opinion, maybe it is true, maybe not. xo.

She is from the North of Spain, but she sings with a southern accent (I´m from the south of Spain). I noticed that Travis has that accent as well when he sang in Spanish, so he might have picked that up from her :D
Rosalía. You have to make strong phonic pronunciation in “í”. It’s because the letter has an accent mark above the vowel “i” In English you don’t have these written accent marks. When you find some of these in Spanish it’s because the vowel has an stronger pronunciation than the others.
Okay I'm really late on this one, but 'TKN' makes reference to the game called ''TEKKEN" that if I'm not wrong was about some kind of family mafia. She's basically all about ''Cosas de familia no las tiene' que escucha'" = ''Family stuff that you dont have to listen'' / ''Mas te vale no romper la omertá" = ''You better not break the omerta'' and so on. ''Omertá'' is a kind of sacred promise in the Mafia that basically means that if you spill the secrets you have to pay with your life. I hope I told you something interesting! xx
Please, could you react this song La Llorona”? Meaning like “cried woman” She has just published it. It is a version of a famous Mexican song, sung by very important artist before her, like Chavela Vargas. Beautiful song anyway, that Rosalía’s version transmits pure sensitive feelings. It makes you cry, sure!!!
There are some theories about the name but nobody knows, I used to love Rosalia, but now she's became kind of weird...The kids are relevant, according to one of those theories, is that the song may talk about the family codes inside the mafia. Who knows 🤷♂️

@@Non_gogoa_han_zangoa Thanks a lot! Can't wait to get them done haha

Lewis Shawcross not. It means tekken by the videogame
Oh really?
Tekken (the video game) is the correct meaning
@@fatmabensassi196 porqué? qué tiene que ver el juego?
Rosalía!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 More reactions to her, please! Greetings from Northern Spain. 🇪🇸
Definitely coming soon! 🇬🇧❤️🇪🇸
The Queen
Love Rosalia she is fire 🔥
Great!
Liked the reaction,
the video production was done by Canada a company in Spain, they also did her Malamente (breakout song) and Pienso en tu Mirada that are master pieces.
She has a lot of symbolism in her visuals and her lyrics, it is hard to decipher because sometimes she uses really obscure cultural references.
For the same vibe I suggest A Pale.
For her flamenco/urban mix Malamente.
Malamente coming soon! Pienso sounds good I’ll get that one out too 🌞 thanks for the info and recommendation 🙏🏻
Aside from reacting to her album El mal querer I feel you might love her live Grammy performance. Any live performances from her are dope AF
I loooove this hairstyle on you 💯
Tash game coming on strong 💪🏻
I love your accent! I highly recommend you Kidd Keo. He sings in English and Spanish. Trap basically. You could start with I GOT. Keep it up!
Where it all begun
ROSE- SA( think salt ) - LEAH lol that's the best I can put her name also I just discovered your channel and I've been binging your reactions haha
The first to break it was Tommaso Buscetta, from the Sicilian mafia, the video talks about the loyalty you must have within the same mafia, when he says "mas te vale no romper la omertá", she talks about the same thing, about not telling what the family / mafia lived or does to people who are not in the close circle
i'm late but there is a theory that says that this song has to do with this whole issue of Pizza gate, that's why the children are there, if you don't know what pizza gate is, you can search, there are many videos about that
His Spanish is perfect. I'm impressed.
Rosalía is a very eclectic artist. I recommend 'Malamente' and 'Pienso en Tu Mirá'.
Done these 2 already Pedro!!
@@LewisShawcross Wow, yeah, you have reacted to a bunch of Rosalia videos. Sweet. I recommend "Aunque Es De Noche" then. It's also directed by Canada: ua-cam.com/video/6s-MQzPZ6IE/v-deo.html
And also "Catalina", the first song she put out: ua-cam.com/video/0OMwDZUWl5g/v-deo.html

Love it! Aunque es de noche definitely coming soon 🙏👋🏻
@@LewisShawcross Sweet! The song is a poem from the mystic poet Saint John of the Cross.
Acabo de enamorarme de esta belleza
El es lindo
Nope, He's s not but his reactions are too interesting👌
Hello I've seen some of your videos and you're really good.
Rosalía is pronounced Rosa-Lee-ah rolling the R
Tío lucho ❣️
She’s talking about like family and trust and the video shows them coming together as a family and being open with another, I think.
in may, all twitter was talking about pizzagate and anonymous and i dont know that it was a coincidence because also, twitter commented that pizzagate was like abusing about children and in the video, rosalia is like taking care of the kids, and also the kids are running and being free. it is only my opinion, maybe it is true, maybe not. xo.
uncle lucho reacts to the tri - sad love song (symphonic) live
you will enjoy it
Otro lvl travist 🔥🔥
She is from the North of Spain, but she sings with a southern accent (I´m from the south of Spain). I noticed that Travis has that accent as well when he sang in Spanish, so he might have picked that up from her :D
You should react to “me quedo contigo”
Rosalía. You have to make strong phonic pronunciation in “í”. It’s because the letter has an accent mark above the vowel “i” In English you don’t have these written accent marks. When you find some of these in Spanish it’s because the vowel has an stronger pronunciation than the others.
as spanish speaker i don’t even understand what rosalia is singing anyway love her
TKN is an abbreviation for Tekken, meaning ‘iron fist’ in Japanese.
ROSALIA IS FIRE 🔥 YOU SHOULD REACT TO HER MUSIC!
Amigos una duda por que no aparecen sub. en español, me encantan sus videos y muchos no les puedo entender ☹️
X2
Quiero agregarle subtitulos pero no se como se hace.
Si me dicen le subo uno
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Who knows 🤷♂️
travis has a very clean spanish tho, i didn't knew until i check the video
TKN is short for tekken, the videogame. She said that tekken means iron fist in japanese
"Hello storm" 😂
