I liked it as you were showing regular scoring, but when you showed scoring with the bar I was sold. It asked where we heard about cutterpiller and I said your UA-cam channel. I’ve used my Martha Stewart scoreboard since I started using a scoreboard years ago. I’ve drawn the dark line so I can line some things up. But I think this in conjunction with my light box is going to be a game changer. Thanks for the review.

I often wonder if manufacturers test-drive their own products; if they did, they would spot some of the errors that we users/purchasers bump into. Never mind, figured it out (terrible at anacronyms!) and could not agree more. In fact, I think many of their products are the very worst...like those absurd corner rounders that have enormous useless handles and an inexplicable design. Once you've used the little round dome with three sizes, perfect paper alignment, etc. you can never go back.
When i saw the MS scoreboard I thought, hmm, typical scoreboard. BUT then I seen the Cutterpillar Crease and you blew my mind! Yes, yes, yes about the cracking of some paper not matter what - the “ridge” on the extra piece looks like a winner and the the “rubber” like ridges to help with the stylus sliding over accidentally! Also the ability to use a light board beneath - wow! I “invested” in the Cutterpillar Pro cutter last year and I’ve not had one moment of regret so I’m heading right now to get their “Crease”. Thank you for this demo!!!

Wow, I love the print shop type score this board gives with that ridge! I'm so glad the coupon code is 30 days since I get paid once a month. I have some time to check out more videos & decide if I want to invest in this. Mostly I want to make sure that everyone seems to be in consensus that it scores nice and straight all the time. I don't expect you'll have to worry about it anymore but if you do have a card stock that you do have a card stock that always makes the stylus slide out if the channel, believe it or not, but rubbing over the cardstock with a piece of wax paper fixes that. At least it does with stampin up cardstock. It's not enough to put any visible wax on the cardstock.

I got this board and mine came with a same size light pad as well as a self-feeling cutting mat I got all three on HSN for a deal. I love mine. However I'm watching your video and did not know about the clear stick that you just put in the grooves and I did not know about the other end of the green tool so I'm glad I seen your video thank you for sharing
That score board looks awesome! However I am not a fan of the trimmer. I prefer the fiskars that it is similar. The reason for that is the cutterpillar blade runs on 1 track while the fiskars runs on 2. With one track the blade to swivels on the cutterpillar and does not on the fiskars. This to me makes a huge difference. With the cutterpillar besides pushing the blade down diwn the track you also have to push the blade towards the pape while holding the paper down with the other hand. Fiskars you only push down as you push it down the track. You do not have to push the blade towards the paper. I do say the light showing where it cuts is a nice feature. I personally don't need it but newbies will definitely appreciate it. I sold my cutterpillar.
I find that I am only using one finger to both gently push the blade toward the paper and guide the blade down the length of it, but I can see your point. It is not something I even think about while doing it.

great! It does help to score with the paper fiber direction, but with the stuff we make, we can rarely do that. On one sheet, we may score in 2 different angles or more, so this is so helpful.

Awesome ! I have had this for a couple of years. I found it not easy to use. NOW, after watching your video I must have not read the directions. I was UNAWARE of the opposite end of the scoring tool AND THE EXTA piece. I have taken it out and did what you showed. I bet I will be using it more often. TFS
Glad I could help! I've often found that when I don't like a tool, I need to do more research and make sure it's not my fault (what I call operator error). If I've tried "everything" and still can't get it to work (like the WRMK Mold Press) I give up, because I think it shouldn't be THAT difficult! :) Hope this helps you!
I have one and have trouble with it using 110lb paper. Laying the paper down over the hump where tthe ruler is makes the paper not lay down perfectly and I end up with uneven folded paper. I athink they need a tool with the slot that is wider to work with heavier papers. It is fine with lighter weight but not wiht heavier weight papers.
