One of my buddies was a Blake. I don't think we called him the right name after this. His parents were confused, so we showed them. His dad had a hell of a time with it lol.
Who agrees that it is more entertaining to see these guys react to them for the first time even if you have seen them. Rather than going and watch them by yourself?
Key and Peele were both on Mad TV WAAYYY back in the day. This character reminds me of a character he played on MadTV - "Coach Hines". Also pretty funny.
Chapelle show was my generation and the main thing I remember from middle school was everyone saying "Cut the Malarkey" there just happened to be a girl and her last name was Malarkey, so every time she spoke this guy would say "Cut the Malarkey" ...it never got old.
Many years back, I was going through a tech school in the USAF,. On the first day of class, the instructor was taking roll, and struggling through a few difficult last names. He finally came to "Jones" and commented that that was an easy one. Then my buddy put his hand up and said, "excuse me sir, but it is pronounced Honez." I died!
You guys are right, when I was in high school you couldn't go anywhere in the building for like a year without hearing someone yelling "Konichiwa, Bitches!" from Chappelle show
I graduated high school in 2016 and Key and Peele was something almost everyone in school watched where I was from. We quoted these guys a lot back then, especially the substitute teacher ones.
We had 2 kids named Aaron and they had a lot of classes together so one was Aaron and the other was A-Aron...A-Aron looked almost exactly like Post Malone too lol
You need to see the Obama anger translator series of sketches. Key really shines in those two - show came out between 2012- 2017. I used to watch these during the week with my dad! If you don’t know by now Jordan Peele has completely pivoted horror movies and has some oscar awards to prove it!
Key and Peele ran from 2012 - 2015 on Comedy Central. They split up to do different things. Keegan Michael Key had been acting in different projects and Jordan Peele has been writing and directing a few movies.
Most of the skits you guys play I was there every day we did it for a few months. I know those guys well Jorden was always very quiet and Keegan was always a riot all the time.
Key & Peele ran from 2012 to 2015. Jordan Peele has gone on to wite and direct some great horror movies and hosts the new Twilight Zone. Keegan-Michael Key works a lot in TV and Movies. Appearing and providing voice work on many projects. They did revisit the college football players (Hingle McCringleberry) on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Watch Keegan Michael Key do Obama’s anger translator Luther. It was so good that at one of the Correspondents Dinners, where the US president basically gets roasted and roasts others in good fun, Obama had him on stage.
It's funny until you realize how true it is in the US. There was experiment with 30 students switch places from inner city school to a proper one. Then when they interviewed some of them were amazed there was such a thing as computer rooms....Or clubs....
If you guys like Key's Substitute Teacher character, you should check out clips of him on MadTV as Coach Hines. Can't remember specific clips titles, but a general search of Coach Hines on UA-cam should give you ideas.
Yeah so Keegan worked on a similar role as a High school sports coach on his many seasons of Mad T.V. which included Jordan for several seasons as well. So Key and Peele was a natural transition after Mad T.V. stopped airing. They ended K&P right at the Crest of their popularity so that Jordan could petsue his passion of writing, producing, and directing horror genre films and television (such as new Twilight Zone on CBS all access now Paramount +) They did give us a comedy gold movie first though. I'm drawing a blank on the title currently. Terribly sorry about that. But they play like they're tough gangsters when they aren't, to rescue this kitten etc. But yeah definitely check Mad T.V. skits. An excellent pre K&P is one called Funky Walker dirty talker featuring Mark Hammill. 😉✌
Just stumbled upon your channel.. immediately subscribed...big fan...looking forward to the start of the Prem season and hearing your thoughts on that..
Loving the content and you all stay on it! Have you ever considered reacting to any highlight reels or specific episodes of Hot Ones? I think you may like it :)
I'm 25 and this was being released in High School. EVERYONE was named "A-Aron"
"Ya done messed up, A-Aron!!!!" 🤣🤣
I was TEACHING HS when it came out lmao
One of my buddies was a Blake. I don't think we called him the right name after this. His parents were confused, so we showed them. His dad had a hell of a time with it lol.
@@shawnchandler8719 That sounds like fun. Lol
Same 🤣
Same here lmao
Who agrees that it is more entertaining to see these guys react to them for the first time even if you have seen them. Rather than going and watch them by yourself?
I totally agree! Their banter, and their reactions are the best!
@@lori6115 Same they are great
Yes, yes it's why we like reactions. It's like showing your friends something you think they'll like.
@@suzg4928 True I love the Obama Anger Translator ones and The Continental Breakfast lol
Facts
Key and Peele were both on Mad TV WAAYYY back in the day. This character reminds me of a character he played on MadTV - "Coach Hines". Also pretty funny.
Takes me back when I was a kid watching Madtv with my folks
Coach Hines is a legend. Short shorts, violent gum chewing, and a voice constantly cracking.
Chapelle show was my generation and the main thing I remember from middle school was everyone saying "Cut the Malarkey" there just happened to be a girl and her last name was Malarkey, so every time she spoke this guy would say "Cut the Malarkey" ...it never got old.
😂😂😂
In fairness, I’m sure it got old for her pretty quickly.
dammit darnell!
There's something so fun about seeing people watch Key and Peele for the first time. It never gets old I just wish they'd done more. 😂👍
The show ended in Sept 2015. Peele went on to get nominated for an Oscar for best director, picture and won for best screenplay for "Get Out".
They won EMMY Awards for the show its last season.
@@jesushateswood Yes
I recommend the Retired Military Specialist skit from Key and Peele.
Good pick
There’s a Murderer in the Hall of Mirrors.
I've been hoping for that one for a while now. It's hilarious.
My favorite is still Ultimate fight next level
Good one
Key and Peele "The worst guys to sit next to on an Airplane" it is a classic
I think it's my favorite and for some reason feels underrated
Thats the one where they take down some "terries" right?
@@dustinwilliams251 hahahaha yeah!
Yeah good one!
Drax them sklounst
I've seen all these and it's still entertaining to watch you guys see them for the first time
They should make a show based just off of this skit. The crazy inner city substitute teacher
It’s gonna get dry real quick
There was supposed to be a movie but they couldn't get it right and they didn't want to ruin the character so they made the Keanu movie instead.
Many years back, I was going through a tech school in the USAF,. On the first day of class, the instructor was taking roll, and struggling through a few difficult last names. He finally came to "Jones" and commented that that was an easy one. Then my buddy put his hand up and said, "excuse me sir, but it is pronounced Honez."
I died!
Omg!!! I would’ve LOST it!! 😂😂😂
Office Blokes on a Saturday???...... YESSIR!!! 😃
More like Office B-Loke's
I love how the kids just gave up and let him call them by the names he picked.lol
You guys are right, when I was in high school you couldn't go anywhere in the building for like a year without hearing someone yelling "Konichiwa, Bitches!" from Chappelle show
Or I’m rich bitch ... I always called every one Charley Murphy for about 2 years
I graduated high school in 2016 and Key and Peele was something almost everyone in school watched where I was from. We quoted these guys a lot back then, especially the substitute teacher ones.
"Office homophobes!" One of the best Key and Peele skethces. The Office Blokes needs to react to that without a doubt!
Balake, J'Quelin and A-A Ron deserve their own show.,
I graduated HS in 2012, everyone in my era was quoting Chappelle's Show lol.
You gotta watch Key and Peele in their MadTV days like Keys most famous role on there called Coach Hines
3:34 "Aint none of yall ..old enough to go to the damn cluuub!!"🤣😂🤣🤣
I love how the kids all have resigned to their names - B'Lake'! LOL
Thank you for making me watch this again with ya’ll.
We had 2 kids named Aaron and they had a lot of classes together so one was Aaron and the other was A-Aron...A-Aron looked almost exactly like Post Malone too lol

I'd like to point out that A-Aron was the only one to make it out of the class for his club photos. lol.
He plays this part so well because he used to play a similar character on MadTv is the late 90s/early 2000s.
Key and peele was BIG 2014-2017 when I was in high school, and we definitely quoted it all the time
I LOVE what Mike brings to this trio! Don’t knock on my guy.
Key and Peele's French Restaurant is one of my favorites!
Key and Peele ran from 2012 - 2015 on Comedy Central.
They split up to do different things. Keegan Michael Key had been acting in different projects and Jordan Peele has been writing and directing a few movies.
I've called my friend Aaron A-ayron since the skit came out.
I actually work with a social worker named Erin and she actually answers to A-Aron, no fooling, its hilarious. (:
It was all Chappelle's Show quotes when I was in school. "I'M RICK JAMES, BITCH!" was a frequent one.
The point where he becomes uncontrollably violent against his clipboard and desk seals the deal.
A-a-ron is is pretty much as universal as "I'm Rick James, bitch!" And is used by people older than 30 believe it or not
Did anyone notice that Mr. Garvey’s clipboard had been taped back together with masking tape, before he snapped it in half again?!😂
Love watching you guys. I was the sound guy for season four and five trust me. We laughed on every production. We did two skits a day.
Most of the skits you guys play I was there every day we did it for a few months. I know those guys well Jorden was always very quiet and Keegan was always a riot all the time.
I love watching it. I was the boom operator.
I'm 26 and at school me and my friends would just look at each other and go "I SAID BIITCHH"
You blokes are excused y’all can do no wrong 😂 love from New Jersey
the algorithm led me here, good boy algorithm, good boy
I recommend ordering soul food like a pro by Key and Peele
Omg I just noticed the clipboard is taped because he broke it in part 1! 😂😂
They need to make a movie from this sketch😂
The football line-ups are fabulous!
I graduated in 2017 key and peele was big when i was in highschool
You guys gotta do key n peele "Front hand backhand", best sketch ever made!
Key & Peele ran from 2012 to 2015. Jordan Peele has gone on to wite and direct some great horror movies and hosts the new Twilight Zone. Keegan-Michael Key works a lot in TV and Movies. K & P: "Prepare for Turbulence" and "The Funniest Kid in School"
I told you that you 3 would love this skit!
Great reaction vid!!
You guys HAVE to react to some Coach Hines skits from MADtv. That's where this "substitute teacher" character kinda started back in the early 2000s
Keep going down this rabbit hole and do not stop! :P We love it.
😂😂😂 iremembered watching this part of the show and.., man still hilarious😂😃
I knew you guys would love this one.
Watch Keegan Michael Key do Obama’s anger translator Luther. It was so good that at one of the Correspondents Dinners, where the US president basically gets roasted and roasts others in good fun, Obama had him on stage.
Obama's anger translator!
Pure gold!😸
You guys are awsome! Much love from USA 🇺🇸!
I’m going to keep recommending prepared for terries, it’s hilarious
I remembered my teacher called me Step Honey 🤣🤣
Key & Peele Show ran from 2012 to 2015. No new episodes, but old reruns are on many different platforms.

President Obama's Anger Translator with Keegan-Michael Key
Almost at that one hundo k. Congrats in advance!
Somatic47 appreciate that 👍🏻
Watch all their skits please. I enjoyed y’all reactions
Keegan Michael Key's BEST Character - Coach Hines - Threats Compilation - MadTV
Love y'all!
5:53 Is a major pause moment (IYKYK LMAOO)
Key with President Obama at the national correspondents dinner. So funny, and Obama kept a straight face. Don't know how he managed🤣
I really wish these guys would react to some Greg Giraldo Roasts/Roasts compilations. They're the funniest Roasts out.
You the Blokes should also react to “Coach Hines threats” compilation. The character is a lot like Mr Garvey.
Even ESPN news anchors will refer to Aaron Rodgers as A-A-Ron
Every MadTV alum is the "gold standard" facts haha!
This show only ran for about three and a half years, from early 2012 to late 2015, and it wasn't just the kids who were watching it.
This was hilarious. Thanks for reacting.
You guys should check out the old MadTV Coach Hines. That character is played by Key
Please react to Key & Peele "Pizza order" or "When your friend goes steampunk"?
He played a similar character from MadTv, but he played a gym teacher with an uneven leg! 😂
Speaking of Glee Club y’all should react to some of their performances or out of context moments
If you guys like Key's Substitute Teacher character, you should check out clips of him on MadTV as Coach Hines. Can't remember specific clips titles, but a general search of Coach Hines on UA-cam should give you ideas.

Y'all gotta watch the last Substitute Teacher 3 now
Michael Key as Coach on MadTV.
In american high-school at least a decade, being named aaron was a death sentence
“Summuma BIUHTCH!” 😂
Do Continental Breakfast next! 😅
Please do "slap ass" for your next Key and Peele!
These are hilarious! But also shows such a disparity between affluent and “inner city “ school systems at the same time.
CFH! black tooth grin! cheers mate!

I recommend the airplane boarding one that ones a classic
These guys would probably love coach Hines from MadTV, with Kegan Michael Key
The Red Green Show: the man's prayer. Probably the best thing Canada has created.
Key and Peele "The Worst Drug Ever"
The show started in 2012 n ran for 5 seasons. They were offered more but both wanted to pursue acting and directing instead.
“You are not in the chest club”
I wish you would react to White and Nerdy by Weird Al Yankovic.
They need to react to Luther, Obama’s anger translator. There is multiple skits of him.
Key & Peele's 'Turbulence" next please!
And here I thought Dave was the one who would ride anything, and it turned out to be Daz.
:-)
