It makes me really sad how some grunts on Team Plasma probably care about Pokémon and want them to be treated well, but they were all played by Ghetsis.
I Black/White 2 team plasma split into two, the first group is the evil neo team plasma who pursue the same goal and are lead by Ghetsis, and the other group is located in Driftveil City, they are the good guys whose goal is to find original trainers of the stolen pokemon and return them.
Some grunt actually became attached to the stolen pokemon. In N's castle at the climax of Black and White, there's one grunt who became attached to a patrat and he said "I didn't cut out to be team Plasma" Or something along the line
That outfit is stupid and always has been, but the other two are great. Edit: I get that they're supposed to be Knights, but the outfit is still dumb as hell. Galatic's outfit isn't awful, but the hair is bad lol. Edit 2: Never said Neo Team Plasma's outfit is bad, I honestly think theirs is the best and most stylish.

For someone who hasn't played a lot of pokemon, when I first had to confront them and that Team Plasma logo with the lightning and the NDS guitar kicking in. These guys are remarkable!

I have been playing my file of white since 2013. Decided to play it a bit a few weeks back. Had nothing else to do in the game. Explored the desert castle because I realized I never really explored it. Finds Plasma grunt. Gets to battle him. Nostalgia kicks me harder than ever. Imagine a 20 year old dancing around the room with a beat up DSi.
Gen 5 pokemon design were overall inferior to all the others gens, and though i like his champions (Goya, Insect champion omg) he's also underwhelming compared to the others. Last but not least, the sprite were really too "Pixelised" because of the animations, and the legendary song (side for Reshi and Zekrom) were kinda "odd" and not really fitting the word "legendary". this is the experience of a guy that passed enough Hour on White to have 15 lv 100

I feel guilty now, almost like I stole it. but every time my dad and his wife would fight, I would always head to my grandmas room and play through this amazing game. thank you Jonathan for all the amazing memories and nostalgia. may we one day cross paths again so I can return your game to you.

Ngl team plasmas ideology legit had me thinking when I started playing gen 5. I stopped questioning it after ghetsis said his true intentions, but the original goal of team plasma was *SCARILY* realistic.
If you doubt yourself remember that team plasma is basically the peta of pokemon, Just like how taking pets away from their owners irl won't help its same in the games, youre forgetting that most of the population of unova aren't even trainer and are just living with their mons, I agree with team plasmas ideals but not their methods, they should have stopped the minority of trainers that actually force and abuse their pokemon to fight , but since they were too lazy to pick out The abusive ones they hurt everyone, my view of trainers is that they're there to help out pokemon that WANT to battle by giving commands, but theyre also theyre to make sure the battle doesn't get out of hand so the pokemon don't kill eachother
Why not do both? I mean, it's more humiliating to lose to someone who didn't take things seriously compared to someone who brought their entire strength to the fight.
Team Plasma was the first team who influenced the story significantly. I mean they didn't just disappear after the seventh gym, they used to overtake Unova!
I mean, I think team aqua and magma influenced the story a lot in Emerald. They may technically dissolve after the seventh gym, but not before you have to go awaken a legendary dragon to clean up the mess they made.

Hearing this for the first time in several years just cracked open memories of my gf and I playing through this game together. It was her first Pokemon game, and I'd neglected games altogether until that year. So even though it's not my own first, this entire soundtrack will remain an eternal bop within my heart.
When you first meet Team Plasma with the Munna, they kick it to geta dream mist. Then Musherna used its power to take the scary things they dream about and use it to scare away the grunts. (Proffessor Fennel or something said thats what Musherna did) So if you think about it, that means that the Team Plasma grunts have nightmares about being punished by Gehtsis. I just realised that yesterday even though ive been playing the game for years. I feel slow
Hearing this instantly makes me feel younger again. I remember my mother picked me up from school and I got Pokémon Black (my first Pokémon game) from her in the car for the first time ever. When I was at my first encounter with Team Plasma I heard this theme an I instantly fell in love with it, I didn’t fought Team Plasma instead I listened to their theme for a couple of minutes. Now hearing this again after a long time makes me a bit emotional because I can never return to the moment I played Pokémon Black for the first time, sure I can just replay it whenever I want but it will never carry the same feeling as then, also I love the Driftveil City music so much

The region is linear and uninspired, and by that I mean they just plopped down landscapes and never tried to put in any interesting details to make it stand out. The pokemon are deformed, especially Dialga. There is no storyline, not really. There is only one major location that actually creates what you may call a story but is an absolutely terrible one if so. The gym leaders are uninspired, and the game is SOOO SLOWWWWW! The only part that people really care about is the competitive scene, and that's the only positive thing about Sinnoh. The characters are uninspired, the region layout makes no sense and every piece of scenery is boring and dull to look at, and there is no enjoyable story arc. Looker should have made more appearances, and not just a few times where he doesn't even do anything special whatsoever.
Here in the days of Sun and Moon, for the good old nostalgia, disapointed N didn't return tho, would've been nice to see how he'd react to Alola and the way pokemon live there coexisting somewhat better with the humans there
The music volume in Black and White is weirdly balanced, so you can't turn it to a volume where the background music is nice and quiet and the battle noises are in the foreground. When you turn it up, the music will BLAST. And that's how it should be.
Solution: Drifblim. One of my favorite Pokemon because it combines my favorite type with an awesome ability (hella annoying when you fight Flint in DPPt though) and the flying type for those STAB moves.

You know, given PETA's track record regarding animals in their care, it would make sense for them to not have many Pokemon. Therefore, that, along with their cover story of wanting to keep Pokemon from being abused (Even though to a creature that can only grow by battling, pacifism would, in fact, be abuse) would be a good reason for a new enemy type. Maybe they use non-sentient, unobtainable "Synthetimons" instead, since in the Pokemon world you can't get very far with no means of self-defense.
Just realised this is the only evil team battle theme I can think of that's in swing rhythm, which is probably not only why I like it the most but also why I like it more than the Neo Plasma theme

Something i really found interesting about Team Plasma's Uniforms They had a Predominately bright color scheme, a white if you may, showing their Loyalty to N(atural) in the first game. Then in the Sequel Games with Black 2 and White 2 the Neo Plasma Uniform then took on a Darker shade, A Black, showing those who were now being loyal to Ghetsis
Ah, I should have explained that I don't consider Team Aqua to be a villainous team, just an antagonistic one (An antagonist is simply someone who opposes a hero, they don't necessarily have to be evil. Whereas a villain is an evil character. I don't consider Team Aqua evil as their goals are pretty noble if misguided, plus I can't really describe any of it's members as evil. Whereas Team Plasma only act under the pretence of liberation whilst only seeking control and Ghetsis is pretty damn evil) It's a nuance I know but I don't really think of Team Aqua as villainous, just antagonistic, whereas I do with Team Plasma and think they're the best representation of villainous the series has given us so far.

The unova story is so cool because it's so intense. Even sinnoh where team galaxy wants to create a new universe (and by proxy killing everyone in the old universe except a select few), it doesn't hold a candle to the evident darkness and true evil around some of team plasma. At the higher level team plasma almost seems like a cult than a real organization like Team rocket or team Galaxy.
That's because they operate how actual terrorists operate. They tell you they're fighting for equality or your rights, and then they burn your city to the ground with their fighting or hold you at gunpoint demanding your resources. They're fighting for your freedom, OR ELSE. People often say Team Plasma is PETA but that's not true. PETA is hypocritical zealots gone too far. Team Plasma is ANTIFA and BLM. They don't have a goal, only power seeking and destruction.

Team Plasma honestly fit in so much more in the Kalos region than the Unova region since they are based on European knights and Kalos is basically the Europe (France) of Pokemon.

Not gonna lie, that postgame grunt in Relic Castle actually made me sweat a little bit with his Krookodile. Gen V games were beastly after the credits.

Zinnia, Cynthia, Looker, these three alone are proof that you are wrong. I mean Looker's theme is purely for an encounter, imagine how badass his battle theme would be. Also the Azelf, Uxie and Mesprit fight clears this too, but this is a very close fifth place.

I mean, I think team aqua and magma influenced the story a lot in Emerald. They may technically dissolve after the seventh gym, but not before you have to go awaken a legendary dragon to clean up the mess they made.

When you first meet Team Plasma with the Munna, they kick it to geta dream mist. Then Musherna used its power to take the scary things they dream about and use it to scare away the grunts. (Proffessor Fennel or something said thats what Musherna did) So if you think about it, that means that the Team Plasma grunts have nightmares about being punished by Gehtsis. Hearing this instantly makes me feel younger again. I remember my mother picked me up from school and I got Pokémon Black (my first Pokémon game) from her in the car for the first time ever. When I was at my first encounter with Team Plasma I heard this theme an I instantly fell in love with it, I didn’t fought Team Plasma instead I listened to their theme for a couple of minutes. Now hearing this again after a long time makes me a bit emotional because I can never return to the moment I played Pokémon Black for the first time, sure I can just replay it whenever I want but it will never carry the same feeling as then, also I love the Driftveil City music so much

The region is linear and uninspired, and by that I mean they just plopped down landscapes and never tried to put in any interesting details to make it stand out. The pokemon are deformed, especially Dialga. There is no storyline, not really. There is only one major location that actually creates what you may call a story but is an absolutely terrible one if so. The gym leaders are uninspired, and the game is SOOO SLOWWWWW! The only part that people really care about is the competitive scene, and that's the only positive thing about Sinnoh. The characters are uninspired, the region layout makes no sense and every piece of scenery is boring and dull to look at, and there is no enjoyable story arc. Looker should have made more appearances, and not just a few times where he doesn't even do anything special whatsoever.
Here in the days of Sun and Moon, for the good old nostalgia, disapointed N didn't return tho, would've been nice to see how he'd react to Alola and the way pokemon live there coexisting somewhat better with the humans there

The music volume in Black and White is weirdly balanced, so you can't turn it to a volume where the background music is nice and quiet and the battle noises are in the foreground. When you turn it up, the music will BLAST.

You know, given PETA's track record regarding animals in their care, it would make sense for them to not have many Pokemon. Ah, I should have explained that I don't consider Team Aqua to be a villainous team, just an antagonistic one (An antagonist is simply someone who opposes a hero, they don't necessarily have to be evil. Whereas a villain is an evil character. I don't consider Team Aqua evil as their goals are pretty noble if misguided, plus I can't really describe any of it's members as evil. Whereas Team Plasma only act under the pretence of liberation whilst only seeking control and Ghetsis is pretty damn evil)
It's a nuance I know but I don't really think of Team Aqua as villainous, just antagonistic, whereas I do with Team Plasma and think they're the best representation of villainous the series has given us so far.

The unova story is so cool because it's so intense. Even sinnoh where team galaxy wants to create a new universe (and by proxy killing everyone in the old universe except a select few), it doesn't hold a candle to the evident darkness and true evil around some of team plasma. At the higher level team plasma almost seems like a cult than a real organization like Team rocket or team Galaxy.
That's because they operate how actual terrorists operate. They tell you they're fighting for equality or your rights, and then they burn your city to the ground with their fighting or hold you at gunpoint demanding your resources. They're fighting for your freedom, OR ELSE. People often say Team Plasma is PETA but that's not true. PETA is hypocritical zealots gone too far. Team Plasma is ANTIFA and BLM. They don't have a goal, only power seeking and destruction.

I mean Looker's theme is purely for an encounter, imagine how badass his battle theme would be.
Also the Azelf, Uxie and Mesprit fight clears this too, but this is a very close fifth place.
