- At approximately 4:00 pm Eastern Canadian Time, a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Montreal, Canada as a storm cell came in from the northeast.
This video was filmed on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 starting at approximately 4:57 pm Eastern Canadian Time as the storm moved into the downtown sector and was directly over me
Thanks for this footage, @SkyOfTheUniverse! Really well documented with great scenes from this event. Unfortunately, this small but strong/severe thunderstorm family remained well off to our East, affecting principally all 7 Eastern corridors that I study within the broader general area - that said, it was really fascinating to watch the thunderstorm grow and mature in the distance as it made its way slowly towards downtown!
Thanks, again, for sharing!
Thanks for visiting Travis! My pleasure. Yes, it was a small but severe cell as I understand? I love watching thunderstorms grow to incredible sizes. It always amazes me how tall those clouds can get and how much power they contain. Thanks again.
Waterproof❤
Patrick, you're going to film the severe thunderstorm coming keep shelter and TikTok immediately Patrick.
Man, I hate when the Severe Thunderstorm happens in my location. I'm afraid that the thunder will hit the power and shutdown. Great video for showing me of Severe Thunderstorm. 👍
My pleasure mate. Yeah it's always a risk eh? It is nice on a night that is not too hot or cold because you get a break from light pollution.
😃🙂😀👍
Saint laurent got nothing
Yeah strange the western part of Montreal and most of Laval didn't get anything
