Each song has multiple takes and its easily identifiable which version went on tape. You're talking about arena echo rather than the full colors of her voice straight from the mic feed.

If it weren’t, we would be able to find her G5 in Hero in the amateur footage, we would hear the whole verse removed from the DVD version of ABMB, we would have amateur footage (like this) of Forever, we would hear the timing mistakes she made in Make it Happen, we would hear some higher belts and different runs in the VoL performances, and there are other very clear instances where vocals were changed or created for the DVD release. By definition that is dubbing. There is nothing wrong with that and it’s industry standard for DVD releases of concerts. It doesn’t change that the undubbed vocals are some of best delivered by any contemporary female recording artist. It just is what it is.

It is cool to see the process of it all. Music is not perfect when it comes from people and that’s the beauty of it. I love how she works with it and still transcends
