Day Release program - Australasian Youth Justice Awards (AYJA)

The team of 10 was nominated for going above and beyond to coordinate a supervised Day Release program which enabled a teenager in detention to attend TAFE and continue with her Animal Care studies.
The Day Release was so successful, the young woman has now reintegrated back into the community as an almost fully qualified Vet Nurse.
