Have you guys heard of AJs Insane Workouts (I would say Etudes on Stereo-Roids)? The tracks/tabs/ backing tracks for Minor Mayhem: Arpeggios, Picking, Tapping and Pentatonics are absolutely insane. I just dusted off the files a minute ago, and felt I had to share the amazement and inspiration with fellow enthusiasts!! Cheers!

I've been playing guitar for around 57 years now (since I inherited my older brother's Fender Jaguar back in 1963). I'm a huge fan of players like John Petrucci and Guthrie Govan and the like. However, after just now discovering Andy James, I've got to say that his style of playing where he combines soul penetrating minor scale melodies with frenetic bursts of some of the most appealing note choices I've ever heard, is precisely what I wish I could have been introduced to when I first started playing. Today's kids who are just starting out learning how to play guitar are incredibly lucky to have such inspiring sources to guide them.

I really do feel lucky having discovered AJ about when I started playing guitar. I may have gotten a little obsessed with him lol, it's important to aquire various influences but he's definitely the main guitarist I've been looking up to for about 8 years now, I don't see that changing soon haha.
On point mate. And, i'm also glad that thesee days youngsters are able to check out such a stunning work. I hope that one day we will have people appreciating mastercraf pieces rather than some utterly common mainstream stuff.
