I'm pretty sure they battled in the practice arena. There's the 7 official arenas which the codemasters run, and the practice areas where they let the players do whatever they want.
@@Sai4651 That still doesn't mean they aren't watching. It was said in the Tom vs Krellin episode that the code masters watch all your matches and knows every card in your deck. That would have to include unofficial and beta drone matches.

I watched the whole show growing up and got a few packs but no one i hung out with watched it and i never found out how to play. But i still love looking at the cards and watching the show. I dream of the day i can play with someone and they can teach me

I have to withdraw what I said about Perplexing Heat attack. I made a screenshot, then a cut on the card and then enlarged it. I noticed that it doesn't even look like a pyramid nor does it have a red background like heat. Now I have no idea what it is. Also, I still have a doubt if the card that is above Malvadine in the column of 5 creatures is Opto and if another of the unidentified cards is Hota.

I'm guessing when Munnari coded Maxxor with that trick shot, Tom used his Ariak to bring Maxxor back.
Tom doesn't have Ariak, the card below Donmar is Najarin. The reason why it isn't the OG art is because it uses a beta version of Najarin Fludimorpher's Foe (for evidence see the episode "Mr. E."). Compare the colors and forms, Najarin's match more than Ariak's.
I think one of my favorite parts about the animation/art style shift of Season 2 is that they started to make the attack animations resemble their card artworks.
I still prefer the season one animation. not that two's style isn't good, it's amazing. but it's like if I was in the middle of eating a hotdog and someone yanks it from me and gives me a burger. it's a great burger, but I want my damn weiner.
Season 1 had more consistency in their attacks, i could tell which attack is which. It seems like season 2 have them shooting 20 different types of lasers randomly and even the known ones change in animation from time to time.
This is probably why nobody has ever done a Mega Match not simply because it's never done before but I guess veterans knows too well multiple 6 v 6 matches tire them out enough as it is. Note of the Wise: No 105 v 105 If they were playing in the real world with cards or online match it's fine but in Chaotic they basically did not take into account of how tiring it would end up being to have that many matches. I say the highest should be 10 v 10. At the very least they should use a day to plan for it. Well I bet they can go for a Mega Match again now that they know how tiring it can get.
could you imagine playing this in they new VR helmets or suits that's supposed to come out in another 2 or 4 years with all the first person battles and having to go out and scan the creatures u want to play as & all with their own on going story lines and AI would be the most BA thing ever
Since Hive ability doesn't have a limit, if they were smart they could've built an entire team of Mandiblors and activated Hive to get creatures with energy in the triple or possibly quadruple digits.
Thing with the Hive though is that BOTH sides get the benefit when it's active. Danian vs Danian fights can get tricky if both rely on the Hive for their battle strategy. As for Tom and Peyton, neither seem to use that many Danians.

I call a glitch. Peyton's Prince Mudeenu had 50 energy against Tom's Tangath Toborn, but against Lomma, Mudeeny has 28. Shouldn't Mudeenu's energy have reset?

in fairness what their doing, while stupid, by the show's rules eats up no real world time so your "chaotic self" could do it while your "real self" was at work, in class or doing any number of things.

the mega match idea may sound insane on paper, But it's actually really interesting to actually practice it. like going for a world record and then trying to see if you can break it.

This episode was really cool. This is the kind of stuff that makes this one of my favourite cartoons. Watching the megabattle reminded me of when japqnese Blazblue players do a FT100 match.

It's telling that they had to _carefully poke_ the creature icons to transform, rather than putting their entire hand on it. Kinda makes you wonder which Codemaster was like "you know, we really oughta program the UI to auto-scale to be able to handle an arbitrary number of creatures and mugic, just in case two utterly insane players try doing their ENTIRE DECK AT ONCE"...
Soooo. That just showed up in my youtube recommadations for some reason. i just clicked it cause the thumbnail showed some monster fighting and it looked nice (i am a big fan of old series like Gargoyles or Extreme Dinosaurs) . i have never ever seen nor heard of this series and of course i just roughly understood what was going on ,seems like a yu-gi-oh kind of thing. now i am wondering is the series as a whole any good?
I imagine you'd like it quite a bit. Wouldn't say it's like Yu-Gi-Oh though. Chaotic is really in a world of its own amongst the animated game-series. Creatures that are really alive on another planet and are sentient, can talk our language(assumedly, if there's no translators in scanners or something), and have civilized societies. The gameplay itself is unique from all other kinds of card games. Having battlegear and Mugic, the 4 different discipline stats, energy is just HP but they have unique ways to get more energy in the game, be it from abilities, mugics, or even battlegear. Some cards have Loyal tags, where in YuGiOh it'd be like "this monster can only be in a deck made up of other Amazon monsters", or "this monster can only be in a deck of other dragon monsters". Not to mention the fact that players actually become the creatures here. That's definitely one of the most incredible and unique features. I think Chaotic is the most fascinating series amongst the game-series roster. Definitely the best for story/lore/world/universe. Has the greatest potential amongst TCG's I say, if it comes back again.
This makes me wonder: is there a time limit for how long matches and battles last, because tom once had a conversation to figure out why maxxor was scared
Well she did get him that map for a scan that is the equivalent to a picture to him. It's not like he's handing over valuable equipment to her, id say he's getting more out of this with nothing to lose and everything to gain with their relationship
That crown possessing Sarah bit has me a bit worried... If that battlegear can affect players like that, then a player + a Parasite would lead to even worse trouble
@@TheAnimeEncyclopedia it actually worked. His aim was to cancel his appetite, he failed at that, but proved it’s possible to feel effects from trips to Chaotic since he still had a massive stomachache.
As long as they port back to Chaotic it resets their code. It's a precaution to make sure battlegear, mugical effects, and parasites don't leave Perim.
Yeah, I think Beta dromes must have more than one space to battle/test your scans or the Code Masters would have forced a "Port out" on those two back to their original selves for falling asleep in their drome in the middle of a match for their own mental health.
Totally, the beta drome is more like a colosseum with multiple rooms rather than a typical battle drome. We get to see its actually size very rarely and briefly at that.
Kaz: when a creature wears this it acts like a mandiblor no matter what tribe its from. Me: man, slap that thing on chaor and the Danian have the underworld under their strings
Apparently it can because this crazy match actually happened in real life. When the online game was still around, two guys decided to see if this 105 card game was possible. They did it but it took them about a week because they took breaks. It almost broke the system.
I like how the beta drome is like sand box mode or free play and lets you do what ever you want and practise or use the creatures memories to find info on something
apart from how much time it would take, there’s a few strategies that’d completely break game balance. If you played as danians, hive would be insane. And if you want to use marrillian heat cannon for an easy win, you could stack your side with fluidmorphers and call an instant win as soon as the location came up, sooner if you used mugic, attacks or battle gear to guarantee it
I would. It'd be such an interesting play, and a learning experience. Can get some quick quality strategy-building lessons in that many matches. You just gotta take breaks like Peyton was suggesting.
I would have if both players are hungry or tried they can rest up if you rest up over a simple time you and the other person need to sacrifice one card
Watching this show back again, Kaz is such a poor sport. He only cares about wins and acts like dumb luck is a skill as long as he’s the one who won from it

According to my research, you attack any of your opponents creatures adjacent to your own. You and your opponent can move a creature in a space if it's not occupied by any creature.

I swear, Tim and Peyton had to have exhausted all their Creatures, mugic, and Battlegear for that Mega match, maybe even all their Locations.
Locations were still just 10 each. Mugic definitely because in the game you get 1 mumugic for each creature.

It's telling that they had to _carefully poke_ the creature icons to transform, rather than putting their entire hand on it. Kinda makes you wonder which Codemaster was like "you know, we really oughta program the UI to auto-scale to be able to handle an arbitrary number of creatures and mugic, just in case two utterly insane players try doing their ENTIRE DECK AT ONCE"...

That just showed up in my youtube recommadations for some reason. i just clicked it cause the thumbnail showed some monster fighting and it looked nice (i am a big fan of old series like Gargoyles or Extreme Dinosaurs) . i have never ever seen nor heard of this series and of course i just roughly understood what was going on ,seems like a yu-gi-oh kind of thing. now i am wondering is the series as a whole any good?

I imagine you'd like it quite a bit. Wouldn't say it's like Yu-Gi-Oh though. Chaotic is really in a world of its own amongst the animated game-series. Creatures that are really alive on another planet and are sentient, can talk our language(assumedly, if there's no translators in scanners or something), and have civilized societies. The gameplay itself is unique from all other kinds of card games. Having battlegear and Mugic, the 4 different discipline stats, energy is just HP but they have unique ways to get more energy in the game, be it from abilities, mugics, or even battlegear. Some cards have Loyal tags, where in YuGiOh it'd be like "this monster can only be in a deck made up of other Amazon monsters", or "this monster can only be in a deck of other dragon monsters". Not to mention the fact that players actually become the creatures here. That's definitely one of the most incredible and unique features.
I think Chaotic is the most fascinating series amongst the game-series roster. Definitely the best for story/lore/world/universe. Has the greatest potential amongst TCG's I say, if it comes back again.

No, nothing inside Chaotic effects anything about the real them. Peyton already tried erasing his sense of hunger by over stuffing himself XD
@@TheAnimeEncyclopedia it actually worked. His aim was to cancel his appetite, he failed at that, but proved it’s possible to feel effects from trips to Chaotic since he still had a massive stomachache.
As long as they port back to Chaotic it resets their code. It's a precaution to make sure battlegear, mugical effects, and parasites don't leave Perim.
Yeah, I think Beta dromes must have more than one space to battle/test your scans or the Code Masters would have forced a "Port out" on those two back to their original selves for falling asleep in their drome in the middle of a match for their own mental health.
Totally, the beta drome is more like a colosseum with multiple rooms rather than a typical battle drome. We get to see its actually size very rarely and briefly at that.

I didn't think this game even had the capacity to hold 105 monsters each.
Apparently it can because this crazy match actually happened in real life. When the online game was still around, two guys decided to see if this 105 card game was possible. They did it but it took them about a week because they took breaks. It almost broke the system.

I would never play a Match like that
apart from how much time it would take, there’s a few strategies that’d completely break game balance. If you played as danians, hive would be insane. And if you want to use marrillian heat cannon for an easy win, you could stack your side with fluidmorphers and call an instant win as soon as the location came up, sooner if you used mugic, attacks or battle gear to guarantee it
I would. It'd be such an interesting play, and a learning experience. Can get some quick quality strategy-building lessons in that many matches.

According to my research, you attack any of your opponents creatures adjacent to your own. You and your opponent can move a creature in a space if it's not occupied by any creature.
Plus some battle gear can help you jump the front line
