There have been genius comedic duos on both sides of the pond.Nichols and May, Lucy and Ethel, Cook and Moore to name just a few. To that pantheon of talent, one must certainly add Lou and Andy. This sketch was brilliant 😹😹
I’m going to Disneyland Paris with my mum this morning. And when we go to the Frozen sing along while we sing let it go, I’ll be doing the same thing as Andy does . . . singing the Flintstones 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Johnno9989 i believe it happened at the end of Little Britain USA and Lou caught Andy out of his wheelchair and goes Andy... You can walk. But Andy just ends up getting back in his wheelchair Lou decides to just act as if he's still wheelchair bound and keeps pushing him along as always. Which is were the episode ended.
In one of the USA epsidoes Andy gets an electric wheelchair and says he doesn't need Lou anymore. Lou was really upset when he left until the wheelchair broke down and Andy asked for her. Then he was overjoyed running back to his aid. Then there is that other USA episode someone else mentioned so it could be that Lou helps Andy because he is really lonely and likes the company
Why is British comedy just so downright funny unlike American comedy (Big Bang, HIMYM, Friends and almost everything else except for Fam Guy, American Dad).
Because we are masters of deadpan humour, the delivery in the lines are with seriousness with a hint of sarcasm and sass. Americans just go over the top, and make everything way too dramatic to the point the delivery of the jokes fall flat.
British comedy is so great because they laugh at typical characters and situations. Look at Little Britain, you can laugh at a typical gay, and a typical fat racist lady who teaches overweight people how to deal with their obesity, look at The Vicar of Dibley, you can laugh at a typical hypocrite politician who pretends to be religious (David Horton) and a typical village zoophile (Owen), look at the Catherine Tate Show and Keeping up appearances, you can laugh at posh people from the south, you see? They write characters to be typical, bcus then viewers can laugh at characters they met in their lives. That's what makes British comedy so great
@nothing special Catherine Tate show is a perfect example. Nan is by far one of her most popular characters and she based it on an old woman she met. The comedy works because its realistic and believable situations.
I don't wanna go to church 🤣 I rather watch Dukes of Hazzard FUNNIEST PART OF THIS EPISODE!!!! IMFAOO!!!!, also I need to use the toilet I WANNA GO NOW!!!!! what a crack up quotes from Andy 😎
I know a real life Andy Pipkin at work. The guy has cerebral palsy and seeing him for the first time will make everyone bring out the sympathy card. In reality the guy is the most horrible person I have ever met and I can't do or say anything.
My little brother is litterally Andy. When you ask him if he wants to go to the cinema he says he wants to and then when we get there and sit down he says he doesnt want to stay and makes us leave and when you ask him what he wants to eat or if you get him something from a fast food place he gets it and doesnt want to eat it.
That is some reality subtext as Matt Lucas is an atheist while David Walliams is Christian, though I could not imagine the latter being overly obsessed with attending church, reading the Bible etc. But probably takes religion in small doses/with a grain of salt. I'm guessing
I’m disabled and some times need to use a chair but I am know way offended by this I find I very funny and still don’t understand why the small majority of people will be offend by this or think that people like me will be offended by this. It’s a joke get thicker skin or just don’t watch it god I hate the snowballs
I remember my school I went to had lots off disabled kids and for like 2 months when I first joined I never saw one off the dudes out his wheelchair so I figured he couldn’t stand I remember one I turned around and he was walking I was so fucking condused

Poor Lou. How Andy's long suffering carer manages to put up with him and is somehow unaware of his true nature, we shall never know.
I believe he did get caught walking once.
