I've been watching a lot of old clips of George Michael ever since seeing the Wham! documentary on Netflix, and the thing that strikes me about him is what a good sport he always seemed to be, and how, when he was the butt of a joke, he seemed to be enjoying it the most. Despite his massive talent and success, he didn't seem to take himself too seriously, as so many other celebrities do.
No conceit, natural humility
Did you see him on Extras with Ricky Gervais, he poked fun at himself and his arrests.
Not forgetting his enormous generosity. Donating large amounts of money to strangers in need
The Comic Relief skit with Corden kind of sickened me. George was so amazing but the fat guy is always awful.
Wen he lived in Goring on Thames he was often seen around my local village just carrying on with his private life and nobody bothered him one bit! I wuddof HAD to of askd him for at least an autograph!
The thing with George he had it all, vocally brilliant, brilliant song writer, looks, the list is endless but he never seemed to have this big ego that some artists do, plus he has a brilliant sense of humour.

@@bonkeydollocks1879 He was trying to get over him since 1993 and he never did. It breaks my heart. I visited his grave yesterday for my birthday. My boyfriend asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I said I want to see George Michael, and he delivered. Traveled all the way from the states. I guess I pulled an Andy 😂.
Btw, as I was walking along the path at Highgate, a fox darted in front of me as I unknowingly had approached his grave. I’ve never seen a fox in the wild! They’re absolutely gorgeous. Surprisingly docile 😊

For my job I used to travel a lot to finchley in London, out of curiosity I looked up where George used to live and it was about a 1/4 mile from where I used to go, small world

Was a sweet and humble guy George Michael was. Most celebrities would never do anything like this. I don’t usually miss celebrities after they’ve died but he’s definitely one of them 😢

I used to work near where George lived in N London, once I saw him popping out of a Tesco express, and he look exactly the same, I thought for a sec he was an impersonator.
Apparently he didn't like singing in public, but my boss was at a local restaurant for his young daughters birthday, and George was there at another table, seeing the celebration George came over and sang Happy Birthday to the daughter , no press, just did it.
Can't believe he is no longer there anymore... RIP George, I'll miss ya more than u'll ever know.

I was a George Michael fan, maybe not a big fan but I did really enjoy his music & amazing songwriting. His voice was beautiful. It really hurts to know we won't hear anything new anymore. RIP George. U are missed.
