That air box shouldn't make that much difference on mpg, should it? I dunno, I work on cars haven't worked on any bikes in 20+ years. That center stand is awesome. I had a small collection of milk crates I used on dirt bikes. It looks and sounds pretty sweet though.
You would be surprised what the reduction in airflow will do, combined with smaller jets and bigger needles to reduce fuel consumption, it makes the distance one tank will go from 200 to 500. It’s a pain but basically I can go twice as far and explore twice as long, that’s how I look at it. 👍🏻 the bigger stock exhaust makes more back pressure and slows the gas from exiting making it even slower to drink fuel and take in air. It’s pretty cool.

Dude it’s absolutely nuts, it’s a whole different animal because it has giant tires and weighs almost 700lbs. It’s not as fast as a sports bike, but it’s way faster than anything else that size I’ve ever been on, as far as a muscle cruiser it’s such a blast.

I don’t care about looks on this girl, just gas mileage, comfort, and luggage 👍🏻 I completely went over the entire bike last year, even put a new clutch in and a full tear down so I trust it on the road. I tried to get a parts bike but there are none at the moment so we’re gonna make it work however that it ends up lol 😂

I’m going to keep it because even though it’s a little rough on the outside, I did a full overhaul last year, new clutch and full service so I know it’s going to last, these in line 4 bikes are really reliable and can go over 100-200k miles no problem. It’s shaft drive too, so no chain, it’s a great bike, just needs a little adjustment is all

They are the original ones form the 98 Kawasaki voyager xii, I just had custom fork boots covering the exposed pistons, it helps a lot with stopping dirt from getting inside them, super easy and cheap
Oh right! The back suspension was swapped yes, I thought you meant the front suspension, the rear springs are awesome I’ll see what they were it’s been a long time since I replaced them
They are progressive rear shocks, I’m not sure the exact model number but if you go on American voyager association they have parts lists and you can get lots of good info
