Agreed, if you shortened the other scenes in the movie that were cringy and then replaced all the alternate scenes with these deleted scenes, this movie might one of my favorite TCMs.
this was the last texas chainsaw massacre that tobe hooper made shortly before he passed even though they had rights to make four more sequels to continue the franchise, but after the Netflix that released it wasn’t that good. in this we get to see grampa on his feet for the first time they could make origin story about grandpas days at the slaughterhouse.
On every deleted scene upload from every movie there are commenters, who never even had their name in the credits of a movie, that think they know better than the director. It's nauseating.
They should have just left these scenes in it adds way more to the movie especially that alternate ending scene at 13:55 much better ending then the original
yeah the whole scene with her leg getting cut idk why they didn’t keep that. def makes the ending we got seem weird af. that nice ass girl didn’t deserve that tho
Yeah there’s a lot of mystery behind his character. He could be considered the overarching villain since he probably converted his family to cannibalism
@@ralphshiverriba155 True if I would love to see an origin story on him like how he started killing cattle with one hit at the slaughterhouse an he might’ve met sally an franklins grandfather who use to sell his cattle to which i believe they were suspicious of each other like when machines took over sally’s grandfather praised automation but grandpa sawyer refused to adapt an wants to stay with the old ways which killing cattle with the sledge hammer. 🔨
This movie was so awesome! Its hard-core! Its just not a TCM movie! But if they hadn't gone that route and just called it something else, it wouldve been better
Her trying to kiss him during his moment of vulnerability was so weird??? After seeing that one scene I lowkey don’t mind that she died in the end lmao
How could they do that to Hitch and Cook? Turned them into pantemime silent drones that follow Verna's commands with no personality. Her silent henchman #1 and #2... Those two should have stole the show. As they did every time they were on screen in 1974
so was I but I understand that from Jackson's point of view Lizzy and him were now wanted by the cop and Lizzy makes a mistake by freaking out big time things start going wrong when someone starts freaking out that's when they mess up because they cannot think clearly and that's where mistakes are made, she should have listened to Jackson and calmed down and just kept running with Jed and Jackson. so I think that is why Jackson finally lost it. I liked Jackson when I first saw this movie. I thought he and the real actor were Handsome. but again yes I was happy to see all the people who had a part in this movie you could really see the love and respect I love the people who did have a part to play in this movie. I have respect for all actors and actresses who show a passion for the movies they choose to be in.
Anyone else catch that was a direct reference to Ed Gein? For those that don't know he was who Leatherface was based off of, and he basically bisected one of his dead victims who was a woman in half from her pelvis up.
It's weird when a movie has this many deleted and alternate scenes that all should've remained in the movie.

@@omarhaq9635 lol I was gonna say Hooper died a while ago but nope it was 2017

The alternate ending is 1000 times better and more disturbing. The music and her face...

They should’ve gave given this movie an alternate timeline, where it has its own continuity.
I like they gave the pretty woman mask an origin, just wish it was in a better timeline to the movie😂😂
Some of these scenes are canon
These Texas Chainsaw films needs movie novelizations that include the deleted scenes.
Well lucky for you because there's a full novelization of the 2003 remake that exists so your welcome.
least we get to see grandpa sawyer on his feet for the first time

I like THIS ending much better
Needed more of the Sawyers in this vs the hospital scenes and walking cross country

Wow they really cut the shit out of this
So messed up on how one human being could become such a monster.
Big dude should've been Leatherface not that skinny guy

I prefer this alternative version where Lizzy get killed by the old man and not Jackson. I mean i was heartbroken when he chopped her head off.
