Buttermilk gives a zing to your cake so that it isn't flat and boring. Be it roasting a chicken, searing a steak, or frying an egg... this chocolate chip bundt cake should be in your regular rotation of desserts. Outstanding recipe and I love that the chocolate chips didn't sink to the bottom.

Yes.. you can definitely make only half of the recipe. Use the same pan or a smaller one but adjust the time accordingly. If you use the same pan, check the cake after the first 25 minutes. If you use a smaller pan keep checking it until a toothpick comes out clean.

I'm Italian and in Italy this is not used in the recipes of our desserts so it's not easily found it in the shop. Some youtubers say to use as an alternative a little lemon juice put in milk and leave it for a few minutes, could it be ok? Thank you if you will answer me😊. (I've used Google translate, sorry for my english😅)
So glad to hear from you. As a substitute for buttermilk I like to use three parts plain yogurt and one part milk. In this case use 180g plain yogurt+60ml milk
I tried making it today. I rarely make bundt cakes. Are they usually very heavy after baking? Mine was not as cakey as yours, where do you think I possibly messed up? Or, did I overmix somewhere? Thank you!
I think you can use this recipe for a 9-inch pan as well.. might need more time to bake though. For other recipes you can use the rule of three in math and adjust the ingredients for the pan you have: for instance - if for a 10-inch pan you use 375g of flour then for a 9 inch you should use 9x375/10 = 340g flour ..-and do this for all the ingredients
