This is the most helpful tutorial I've seen in a while. I'm just starting to get into doing more exterior renders and my issue is that since it's usually a larger scene, it's tough to add imperfection maps around big areas like pavements and roads from an aerial perspective. You don't see a lot of free resources that help you out with these types of images. If you're familiar with doing them, maybe you can do more tutorials on them. Many would really appreciate it. I'm using 3ds Max 22, and when I add the composite map and plug in a bitmap, it still only shows 1 layer + mask. Do you have to enable anything to see second layer or have I encountered a bug?

Watch the video once again, u can create a new layer by using add new layer tool in the top right corner of the window :)

No, you can do it with the compact material editor as well.

@@ubernoob458thanks 4 the response. at 0.53 the composite material is different in 2019 version. no blending option.
