So many wonderful places to visit, not enough time to do them justice. I'd be hopeless at keeping a schedule (hoping to find out in the not too distant future)!
On the way in to Turku on the left of the exercise you could see two big cranes. It's Turku shipyard, the birth place of The Icon of the seas and many famous Caribbean cruise ships. I really like your channel.
re 4:52 there is also a Swedish company called Sandvik. I used to work in the mining equipment manufacturing industry and we would sometimes use Sandvik rock crushers in our designs.
Congratulations, and wish yuo a happy New Year 2024. I've a question: After your travel experiences on Sea Rose, would you take her to an transoceanic sail? I'm considering it to sail from Mexico to Australia.
Yes, we would absolutely take her across an ocean. In fact, we plan to cross the Atlantic in November of this year! We got the deeper keel to increase stability in high seas and we have done tons of prep to get her (and us) ready! Happy 2024 to you too!

Indeed! Take it one step at a time and it won’t feel as daunting!

Oh - thanks for that information! We had heard something about that and I believe we visited a terrific museum that also covered that history!
